Screw doesn't center over the cork. Screw is not long enough to fully extract cork. Mechanism slightly jams when extracting cork. There are much better options out there.UPDATE: After a couple months, this is now in the trash. Total loss, but wasn't worth the frustration. Look elsewhere!

I like the quirky (futuristic) look of this corkscrew, so much so that I leave it out as a talking piece
I must admit I am a bit of a wine aficionado and decent wine tends to have a cork (rather than a screw top).I love these corkscrews they are easy to use for opening wine bottles but also make it easy to take the cork off the cork screw.The Foil cutter is also easy to use (I know in the movies they may use a pocket knife to cut the foil off the top of a wine bottle but that is so messy.I like the quirky (futuristic) look of this corkscrew, so much so that I leave it out as a talking pieceI'm constantly buying these as presents for my friends and this one comes in a nice presentation box.
