I have a 17 inch knee and wear an XL

Q: What about lateral support. We are looking at this for my daughter who plays basket ball, and wants something to prevent knee injury she is a post and gets beat up alot, and is worried about her knew being push sideways or back. Does it decrease range of motion? thank you

Yes it does. Exact reason I tried this one, and no it does not restrict movement unless you are doing anything like knelling or deep knee bends (squatting). The extra padding puts a little extra pressure on the front of the knee. It is warm to wear so expect a lot of sweating, but has held up to multiple washing's very well. Would buy again when needed!!
