It does everything it says; and contrary to other reviews for this product, there was no flaking, no chipping, no wear of any kind. A major improvement would be some sort of rheostat, allowing users to regulate the heat. Right now, the longer it sits...the hotter it gets. DSon't leave this unattended. YOU are the safety feature. -w.

Good Product, needs some tweaking. I have very thick coarse 4c hair. So detangling with any comb, hot or regular resulted in a lot of breakage and pain. I wish the teeth were a bit shorter. I also purchased the one with shorter teeth, but they were to close together. A short comb with the teeth approx. 2" long and 1/2" apart. This would be perfect!

this works great for my hair i am black mixed it gets my hair straight in like 10 mins. Bad thing is that the cord will tear dont put pressure or wrap it up to hard when done using. other than that great hot comb

I am a black female with 17 inch 4c hair so my hair is long and thick but soft and this comb did absolutely nothing to straighten my hair, despite spending almost two hour on my hair with this comb. The only thing the comb did was burn my fingers multiple times. The handle is smooth so if you have pressing oil on your hair, be prepared to get burnt. I want to return it but I threw the package that came with it thinking it will work. Waste of money.

This is a great product
