very nice
Can definitely tell this is good quality. love the smell. This lasted me exactly 1 month. 7th to the 7th. Still have a little piece left but too small to use. Worth the price? Absolutely NOT!!! 15 bucks a month is more than a Disney+ or Netflix subscription. Somewhere in the 6 dollar range (shoot make it 6.99) and ill click that subscription button right now. That being said. Will I buy it again? Yeah. I wanna try a few more scents but its a fad. Ill probably try 3 or 4 scents and then find a more reasonably priced option.UPDATEWell, what can i say? 9 months later and ive tried all the scents and dont see myself going back to regular soap. The scents got me here and the quality kept me here. Other brands just dont feel the same. Favorite scent is royal cypress and least is black amber (dont hate it just not as good as the others) Really want to try their cologne but 70 bucks is just too much for an unknown outcome

Doesn't smell like sandalwood at all
I should have known not to buy a product that's advertised as sandalwoood + anything. It smells like grapeseed oil, of all things, and maybe bamboo... But, pretty much like every single beard oil on the market, this soap doesn't smell anything like Sandalwood. It smells good enough that I'll keep using it, sure... But... To whoever makes this soap: Please either add way more sandalwood oil, or take the word "sandalwood" out of the name.

I really wanted to love this soap!
I am not a 'bad' review writer and I suppose, if pressed, I wouldn't say the soap was 'bad', but there were certainly some things that surprised me.The scent, which I was really looking forward to, lasted one shower. I now have a huge bar of soap (which appears as though it will last quite a long time), but the scent was minimal when I first opened it, and virtually non-existent after my second use. Perhaps my expectations were too high, and this is typical? Also, the packaging was a bit annoying. In removing the tight plastic wrapping I was gouging into to the soap with my fingernails, removing (albeit small) chunks from the soap to get it out of the plastic. With all of this said, I will definitely give other products of yours a shot just to see if this was a fluke. Thanks!

Best smelling soap
I used this soap for years then it disappeared from Amazon for awhile. I tried just about every expensive bar of sandlewood soap I could find and could never find something quite as good. Recently found it's back and reordered and while it's expensive its worth the money. Opening the envelope the scent just punches you in the face. My Pre De Province bars are going to collect dust cause they simply just don't stack up. Yes it's alot of money for a bar of soap but the bar usually last around 6 weeks. The smell lingers in the bathroom for hours after you shower as well. Spending $14 to smell incredible for 6 weeks doesn't seem that crazy when you can easily spend the same amount at Starbucks once.

Not an every day soap
In the beginning I really liked this soap. I used it every day with a washcloth. However, on a particularly grueling day at work, I noticed that I didn't smell like I normally would at the end of the day. I'll be real, I smelled like a 75 year old dude. The age old "old man" smell. Now if you're going out and you won't really be perspiring, then this soap is awesome, and it will hold up. If you're super active and move a lot throughout the day, then you may smell kinda weird at the end of the day.Granted, this has only happened once to me. So maybe it could be user error. I'm not ruling it out. I still use and enjoy this soap greatly. What I've done is to go back to standard Dr. Bronner's peppermint and now I save the Mistral for weekends and special occasions. Which I think is the soap's rightful purpose. Note that this review is for the Cedarwood Marine scent.
