Golden Artist Colors Fluid Acrylic Paint 1 Ounce-Historical Van Dyke Brown Hue
C**.
very very dark
I love the Golden Fluids- after going through several other "artist quality" brands in an effort to save money, I finally realized there's a reason Golden has a reputation that they have. Their colors cannot be matched (they are not "chalky" and dry SO vibrant it's almost unreal) but the fact that the fluid paint is actually FLUID (a very liquid consistency) with so much color in it makes it unlike any other paint on the market. Instead of being soft body, these paints are almost like highly-pigmented gels or glazes.Let's talk specifically about Van Dyke Brown: it's VERY dark. Pretty much black. But when you add glazing liquid or water to it, you see the deep brown color emerge. I wouldn't recommend this as your only brown or a brown used to darken other colors (although it will do that, just a little goes a LONG way) but it is a great alternative to black because it brings a depth and warmth to canvases while still being as dark as black. It's a neat color to have in your arsenal.

Golden acrylics make a beginner looks good
Golden acrylics are the best. True vibrant color every time. Smooth application. Mixable. Since trying this fluid form, I've graduated to the larger thick bodied tubes.
