WILEY Trades About to Happen: A Modern Adaptation of the Wyckoff Method

Great book, the formatting is terrible, but it's not about the formatting.....This book has had the biggest impact on me in my development as a trader. I didn't appreciate the content the first time I read it. But since then it has become my companion, I can see myself referring to this for many years to come.In order to read this classic you must download the charts.

Ich habe unzählige Bücher über Trading/technische Börsenanalyse gelesen, aber dieses Buch hat sicherlich eine der schlechtesten Präsentierungen. Es könnte sich hier um ein Buch der 80er handeln. Den Grafiken fehlen manchmal sogar die Kennzeichnungen, um dem Text besser folgen zu können. Grafiken befinden sich regelmäßig einige Seiten vor oder nach der Erklärung. Die Erklärungen sind nicht visuell gegliedert. Definierte Begriffe werden nicht durch Fettschreibung hervorgehoben. Dadurch ist es schwierig Definitionen nachzuschlagen. Das Stichwortverzeichnis ist ebenfalls sehr mager. Die Grafiken und deren Druckqualtiät sind insgesamt sehr billig, was bei einem so teuren Buch wirklich eine Schande ist.Es wird gesagt, daß der Autor von Beruf Lehrer ist. Deshalb ist es um so überraschender, daß die teilweise interessanten Informationen schwieriger zu verstehen sind (weil schlecht präsentiert und Texte sehr schlecht visuell gegliedert).Ursprünglich habe ich dieses Buch gekauft, weil Dr. Alexander Elder das Vorwort geschrieben hat und dieser Autor wirklich ausgezeichnete Bücher auf den Markt gebracht (bei dem gleichen Verleger) und hier meine ich nicht nur die Qualität der Informationen, sondern auch die extrem übersichtliche und klare Präsentierung des Inhaltes (Grafiken als auch Texte).

I bought this book on the recommendation of Alexander Elder. The book has a very interesting subject of reading the bar charts which are generally available for free. The layout of the book is pretty miserable: the pictures are small and difficult to read and many times the explanations are on another page etc. My 62 year old eyes had real difficulties to read the text and the pictures. Some editing would have been needed in my opinion. I struggled through the beginning two thirds where there is the 'simple' bar chart reading section. I found new to me things in it and thus I have struggled it through two times already. The end part of the book will probably remain to be just looked over. Anyhow not a waste of money.
