I used this yarn to crochet a sun hat and a small purse. They look nice but it was hard to crochet with, so I am looking for a different brand for my crochet projects.

Easy to work with
Making a purse with this material. Cone was smaller than expected but there was plenty of raffia yarn for this project with quite a bit left over.

All Paper, Not Usable for Crochet
Tape was holding the end to the spool. When I attempted to peel the tape, the paper "yarn" tore, just like paper does. I put a piece under water. It disintegrated, just like paper does. It would be impossible to make a bag or hat out of this. Besides being very stiff and prone to tearing, if it got wet, it would fall apart.If you want to use it for decorating an item that does not get wet, buy it. Do not pull on it or it will tear.
