HaywardCX5030C Top Manifold Assembly Replacement for Hayward C5030/C7030 SwimClear In-Ground Cartridge Filter

I have to replace this about once a year. Maybe it's my fault for not getting to it quite quickly enough, but it's a significant pain in the rear to tear the whole thing apart and clean the filters. This year I bought an extra set of filters, and I'm going to keep them on hand so that I can replace the filters, and then clean the ones that I pulled at my leisure. We'll see how that works. Honestly, I think one of the other filter types that allow you to backwash would be much more convenient, but it's too late now....

Buy from local pool store, spend more money, and wait about a few weeks to receive via special order or save bucks big time via Amazon and get it in a few short days!

This is a necessary evil if you own the filter but I wish there were better options. It's starts cracking within the first year and fails in another year. There is just no reason this should not last the life of the filter system. Poor quality

Hayward. Brand manifold. I advise getting the elbow O-Ring and install at same time , not included with this manifold. If tight fit put a little O-Ring silicone on the O-Ring and then easy to install. Pool supply store wanted $150 for a generic brand manifold. Used on my Hayward c5030 filter system and fit perfect.

For a Hayward product, this part doesn’t hold up well. The last two I’ve installed have cracked badly. This time I purchased the wattanty....we’ll see how this works.

Hayward makes the perfect fit for its products. No after market stuff for me.

It fits and works but Hayward just makes a bad product mi e has multiple frames and never had PSI over 15. Will see how long this one lasts

So far so good for 2 months.
