Good for cold food.
I like the container’s size, BUT it’s not good for hot food. I burned my hand after putting oatmeal in it. The walls are thin and not insulated like a thermos would be. I was quickly trying to purchase a small container and didn’t realize it wasn’t insulated. It looks like I will have to continue shopping around.

Warning: lid collects mold
The lid lends itself to mold buildup. The silicon ring must be removed for every wash, and it's not easy to remove and insert back into place. I'm bummed because I like everything else about this container for my preschooler (easy to open, small). I am returning it.

Great size, durable and cute
I bought two of these in blue many years ago from my local supermarket . They are such a good quality that they are still in perfect shape. I wash them either by hand or in dishwasher and they are in excellent shape. Love them so much that bought another two in green from amazon. I can’t tell if they are leak proof since I never used them for liquids but they are perfect for additional side of baby carrots or sliced mini cucumbers or grapes or crackers that I pack for kids’ school lunch. Lids screw on and are very easy to open. Lids aren’t stainless steel.

This would have been the perfect product to pack my son some fruit for lunch
This would have been the perfect product to pack my son some fruit for lunch, however after a couple uses, I noticed liquid getting under the seal so I took it out, which was not easy. There was gunk under the seal and the seal also ripped as I was getting it out.

Worth its weight in Gold
With four kids in school, and home-canned goods at home, cold lunches are a must in our family. I struggled for years to find a way to send home canned goods in lunches, and had many failures that ended in ruined books and homework. I finally stumbled across these Lunchbots. I struggled to convince myself to buy them since I would need four and with their cost that adds up quick, but I was desperate for something. Three years ago I took the plunge and ordered them, and they have been the best thing ever! They are still like new. The silicon gasket needs to be bleach and scrubbed a little more than dishwasher clean from time to time, but that is a part of life. Everything needs a good scrubbing from time to time. I wish I could invest in more Lunchbots because they truly are worth their weight in Gold!

It’s really nice. I haven’t put warm food in it yet ...
I bought it for my daughters lunch. It’s really nice. I haven’t put warm food in it yet so I don’t know if it holds it’s temperature. It’s a regular thermal container. Nothing fancy lol. The only down side if this product is the gasket ring. It fell out the first time I washed it. I kept putting it back in. Eventually I ended up losing it. I don’t know if it’s still leak proof or if it will maintain its temperature still. Next one I buy will be at the store. I want to physically see the product and see if they are all the same or only a few have cheap gaskets.

This is a good item for putting things it
This is a good item for putting things it, but it is not a thermos. It does not keep cold and hot even though it looks like it does. It is just a metal container, small, 8oz, the will hold food. If you want to keep it cold you will still need ice pack.

nice sturdy container
nice sturdy container. not insulated, but I put it in an insulated lunchbox with ice packs, and that works fine for us. Found it handy for beverages (I just add 1 or 2 ice cubes to keep drink cold), yogurt, or soup.It seems to stay closed well without being too hard to open for young kids.
