I am so pleased with this set of knives. I originally washed them by hand but since several have been used I've put them in the dishwasher and they come out looking like they did when they arrived. The scissors are sharp and similar to an older well made pair that I have. Ignore the person who states that they fall apart - that's the way these scissors are made, they clip together and clip apart for thorough cleaning - I cut skirt steak with these amongst other things. Excellent set of knives. I would definitely recommend them and purchase them as a gift.

You get what you pay for and for $60 it’s okay. But from all the reviews I read I thought it would be so much better.UPDATE: This company reached out to me (rather quickly) after getting my review and did offer "help."I did not feel like negotiating/returning, however I was floored when they reached out to me to make things better. I am extremely pleased and so appreciative of their customer service.I highly commend them.

I am very pleased with the quality of these knives. I am a professional chef. I of course have my own set of knives I use but I bought these for home use. The knives are very sturdy, sharp and well balanced in the hand. I recommend them for everyday use.

We've had these knives less than three months. One fell apart almost right but I thought it was a one off. Tonight my wife was having chicken salad and thought she was chewing on a bone. WRONG! 2nd knife had fallen apart so I checked others and three more were cracked along the handle. My dishwasher is on a normal setting and I've my water heater set on the lowest setting. One of my worst buys off of Amazon. I've reached out to Bill. F and hope to hear back. Pretty shocking.*UPDATE*The folks at Bill.F are sending out a new set to replace the defective pieces. Very honorable. I would do business with them again.

I purchased this good quality attractive knife and butcher's block set as a gift for my son-in-love's 40th birthday. The knives are as sharp as they are attractive; consequently, they should be used with caution and never ever handled by young children. If god were reckless when using these knives, god would be cut. Also, the knives, which are dishwasher safe, should be cleaned, dried, and returned to the butcher's block immediately after use. The set comes with a knife sharpener and smartly designed kitchen shears that can be quickly and easily disassembled for thorough cleaning. Meal prep knife applications and cutting steak are almost effortless, requiring skill instead of strength. Cooking is one of my hobbies; consequently, I now resent the reality that I wasted too much time and energy using lesser knives and plan to purchase a set for myself.
