Titan Books MASS EFFECT (TM): INITIATION

I appreciated this contribution to the Mass Effect series. The story provides some key character history that I did not know I would enjoy learning. OF course, this tale also provides key history of the whole adventure and creates a bridge, however minor, from our beloved trilogy into where we end up in Andromeda.Needless to say, I am a Mass Effect fan... if you are unfamiliar with the series.... you should start from the beginning.

My only criticism would be that it's a little short, at 300 pages.It adds a lot of flavour to the Cora character and to SAM. Playing the game first added some weight to Alec's words, knowing the hidden messages he was trying to convey. That being said the book adds a lot of weight to the games too, they compliment each other very well.

Good book in the mass effect universe.
