Linzer1504 0400 Paint Brush, 4" Single Brush

I did like this paint brush and would have rated it higher if it weren't for the bristles continuously falling off. This is very inconvenient and annoying when you're in the middle of painting and you have to stop to remove the bristles. The only thing that makes it ok is the fact that it's very cheap. I would probably buy it again depending on the project that I would be working on. One upside is that they are super cheap and can just be thrown away after one use. This is definitely not the brush to use if you were working on a project that is a focal point unless you want to be plucking bristles out of the paint. It is fine when held in terms of comfort and was fine to clean with soap and water. Not the greatest quality and I would likely buy again for a one time use and imperfect projects, but I probably would not recommend it.

This is a good brush for its price. Not the highest quality, but perfect for my project needs - putting a sealer on outdoor stone walkways, etc. I didn't need an expensive brush, just one that was durable and had enough bristle to do the job. I will definitely buy these again for this this type of project.

Of the hundreds and hundreds of chip brushes I’ve used, this is one of the least bristle shedding I’ve come across. I even washed it a number of times and it still lost barely a bristle. Maybe I just got lucky, but this is definitely a brand I’d feel comfortable in buying in a larger quantity.

Served it’s purpose for my daughter’s arts and crafts. Easy to clean off (if doing so immediately with hot water). Didn’t leave a bunch of loose bristles stuck to her project like the cheap brushes do. It’s a quality paint brush! Great price without having to visit a store. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this for the sole purpose of working chalk paint into the fabric of a vanity stool, instead of having to reupholster it. I thought that brush might be sturdier than it actually is. The bristles are a little softer and have a little more give than I expected for how short they are. It does shed a little bit. But I didn't expect more for the price really. It worked well to put several layers onto the fabric and I didn't have to worry about ruining the brush because it was just a couple of bucks.

I ordered this paint brush to do light tasks, primarily to apply Thompson's water seal. It does the job perfectly and there was no need to spend any more for a "better" brush! Highly recommended for light work!

They work very well for stain or paint jobs that don't require fine work. I use them primarily for staining. I like the fact that I don't have to clean them. I use them for a single session by which time they are wearing down. I throw them away after each session--no time or money spent cleaning them. I seldom use any other kind of brush these days.
