Didgeridoo Store Ultimate Didgeridoo Package 1.5

I guess the title pretty much lays it out. This is an excellent beginner's Didgeridoo, especially for the price. There are two things to be wary of though.1. Not all will sold will look like the picture. As in at least one other review, they all look different, so you really shouldn't just expect that it will look like this one. Mine for example, looks the same as the Didge pictured here (as far as I could tell), though the carrying bag is a bit different. It is a striking tie-dyed blue. Still, it seems any design they put out is stunningly beautiful.2. Now to the mild criticism. The video lessons on the disc/ it's audio tracks are designed to work as a "website" and there's a link on it to start which sets it up on the web. All the lessons are informative and worth wile, but there are some problems with them. The videos often break off toward the end and have some skips in them. I think I remember the audio having some minor slip-ups too. Still, it can't be emphasized enough that these are minor slip ups. The audio and video still brings powerful, lessons which make it possible for any willing person to learn this great instrument. Also, you don't need to use it as a website! You can just convert the files and listen/ watch it on your IPod or just on your computer. Itunes seems to automatically convert the audio files and you can get a free video converter on Cnet.com where they spyware test it. I used the "any video converter." It worked alright.That stuff I wrote down in the #2 point was close to getting me to take a star off, so like 4/5 instead of 5/5. My reason to do this would be that it was annoying to have to deal with these very small problems. Though, the positives so out weigh the negatives that it deserves a 5/5 none the less.Also, it's really easy to clean.I'm still at the early stages but it's soooo great. :) I just learned how to successfully drone on the didge.

Couldn't make it work....I have dentures and asthma...what was I thinking? gave it to friends who do just fine with it.

Digiridoo is a bent piece of PVC pipe with some paint on it. Carrying case is a cheap piece of fabric with no carrying strap. "Instructional DVD" comes on a mini CD that only older computers can play. When I asked the seller for a copy if the CD, they said they did not manufacture the product and could not help me. So I have a cheap piece of s*** PVC pipe and an instructional CD I cannot use.Totally way lame.

The audio and video disc to be played on my computer was not helpful due to the fact that I was not able to access the video portion. I have tried to play it on several devices without success. If you are going to provide something like this as part of the package it should be easily used. The didgeridoo sits in the corner until I can find something else with a video component that will work!

This is great value for the beginning player. It is made of heavy plastic, has a comfortable rubber mouth piece and is nicely decorated. The tone is good. It comes with fabric cover, cd and instructions.

This is a great starter or travel didge. It is very easy to get a consistent sound and work on circular breathing. It is easy to clean and is sturdy, but light. Wooden didges require stronger breath, better lip control and a knowledge of the type of mouthpiece you want to live with. Learn and practice on this one and you'll be ready to make some of those decisions. This didge sounds good enough to be played in public, it just looks cheap...and like the plastic that it is. A plain pvc pipe would look more cool and edgy, instead of plastic that is painted to look like an authentic didgeridoo. I keep this one in the car now since it won't get upset with weather fluctuations...the bag is a great accessory for that.

Arrived in a huge box but is light as a feather. Very fun to play. Instructions could be more detailed, but they are enough to get started. It is harder to play than it appears but is a LOT of FUN! Family members have tried it as well to varying degrees of success. Came well packaged and has a nice cloth cover to keep it clean when not in use. I would order from this seller again.

I gave this to my nephew for his birthday. He loved it. "The bag is pretty cool" -- he says.... and he loves practicing. My sister is glad that he practices outside. The CD that came with it was a mini CD. I purchased this because of the instructional CD and the low price but it did not say it was a mini CD. Very hard to find a place to pay a mini CD so I'm not sure if the instructions are helpful at all.
