Good Fine Motor Occupational Therapy Toy
We actually had a great experience with this toy, which we bought as phase one in a progression I was working on at home with our son for improving his fine motor and hand strength. What makes these great for that is their size, larger beads are easier to grasp in the beginning, and then our goal was to work him down in size.We didn't have any issues with how these went together or came apart, they did exactly for our kiddo what we were hoping they would, and I think because these are different colors, they can also be used for patterns, sorting, and building a color naming foundation. And they also seem pretty durable to me, because our son chewed on them like crazy and none of them broke.

Great toy
The bright colors are great and this toy is perfect for fine motor skill development to get the beads to interlock. My son has a weakness on one side so we use these for his therapy but they are important for skill building for kids of all abilities. My son uses these in therapy and I bought this set to practice at other times. I was afraid he'd lose interest seeing them so much, and sometimes he does as all toddlers do, but he will play with them anyway and really tries to get them to interlock. They are a great price and don't take up much room too so I think well worth the money no matter what the child's abilities are. I'm glad I'll have them for our second kid to have, who should be fully able physically.

These are awesome! I had bought a different brand and they were too hard to pull apart. These were perfect for my kiddo. He's almost 2 years old and big but has some motor delays so these were the perfect balance. They required some effort to pull apart but after a few tries he could do it on his own.I think they'd make a great affordable gift for kids 9-18 months.

These beads are great for church and places where our son needs to play quietly. The colors are bright and easy to play with, but they're a little too easy to pull apart. If we try to put all 12 of them together in a circle then they pop apart, and the plastic feels a little thinner than the ones we used to have. Overall a good product, and a good toy to have around for your little one.

Fun without batteries - what a concept!
Simple, engaging toy which little ones can enjoy manipulating while learning colors and developing fine motor skills. Got this for our 1 year old granddaughter after remembering how much our own daughters liked a similar toy. We also have an abundance of the fancier electronic gadgets, of course, and they definitely have their place, but there's something cool about watching a toddler explore a simple toy that demands imaginative play rather than one that is just entertaining them. At this age, they also seem to be enjoyed for teething! lol! Highly recommend. (And no noise or batteries!)

Lots of fun!
I had these as a toy when I was little, my brother had some when he was a baby, and so I knew I wanted to get some for my daughter also. At 6 months old, she immediately grabbed onto them and enjoyed shaking them when linked as two, as well as chewing on them linked or separated. We link them all into a loop and she likes to play with them that way too. I really appreciate that they are completely washable with soap and water. I do wish there were a couple more in the set, but for the most part they are a really great, durable toy. The description says "vehicle shapes" and these are not-they are geometric shapes, which I prefer actually. Highly recommend!

Don’t connect well.
They don’t fit well together. Some of them are even a little hard for me to connect— I have to push hard. My son gets frustrated with them when he can’t do it. Other pieces just fall straight out of the adjoining piece. He played with them once or twice and then never again, so we decided to donate them.

Great Product for OT for My Little One - Improves Fine Motor Skills!!
My three year old loves these Snap Locks. She has used them over the past 1-1/2 years to improve her strength and fine motor skills in her Occupational therapy. They are large enough that she can manipulate them easily with her hands and they are not so difficult to put together or take apart like some other products. Also they are constructed of plastic that relatively strong so that they are not easy for her (or her sisters) to crush. Great purchase for a very small investment.

He is fascinated by the sound made when you blow into the hole in one and he likes to suck the 'teat' on the other
I bought these for my eight month old grandson and he loves them. I had thought his Mum could wear them round her neck when breast-feeding to stop him being distracted but, in addition, he is playing with them. He quite likes just to have two fastened together. He is fascinated by the sound made when you blow into the hole in one and he likes to suck the 'teat' on the other. Blue and yellow seem to be his favourite colours. I can imagine that they will be useful to teaching colours later on. My daughter who is 38 had similar beads to this for her first birthday and I remember how much pleasure she derived from them. Looks like history will repeat itself.
