Quality vacuum cleaner but a bit heavy.
This upright vacuum cleaner comes with a 7m cord. It also has two extra tools which you can store on board. It has the bendy tube that connects to the handle for hard to reach areas and for using the upholstery tool. The body can be detached to empty. This is a powerful cleaner! I vacuum evety other day with a cordless cleaner and you can instantly notice the power difference. Straight away this collected grit and dust I wouldn't have expected! As I have a dog, this is fantastic for catching those invisible hairs you don't realise are still there. This works well on hard floor and carpet. If you have a deeper pile carpet I struggled to push this along, I had to drag it backwards instead because the power was so strong! This is quite heavy so a bit of a haul to carry upstairs.I am very impressed with this vacuum because it's robust and has everything I need to clean furniture and carpet! The price is amazingly good!

Does not work on any carpet with decent pike
PositivesExcellent on hard floors, superb suction.Negatives.Useless on carpetsWe have very okd wool carpets around the house. Was ok to remove most dirt but cannot remove any light fluff regardless of the suction setting. Also had to go over a few times. Tried shake n vac as we normally do and couldn’t lift a thing.Went to the bedrooms with a deeper pile carpet and could only leave traces of woollen carpet off the brush and could not lift a thing. Cleaned every section possible and tried again and still the same result. Will be returning

The products from this brand usually dont disappoint and thats the case of this upright vacuum. This black and silver upright vacuum is well designed and made.Easy to set up and has a few useful accessories to reach different surfaces.I have tried on my living room carpet and has a great powerful suction, its lightweight and has a big power cord.Compact, powerful and long lasting.Comes with 2 years warranty.

Awful.
Without a doubt the worst vacuum I have ever owned. It is lightweight but the attachment to do stairs etc is so short it needs to be light. It was hopeless on hard floors & not much better on the carpet. The brush has no way of being removed to clean it. Overall it was a waste of money.

A few negatives, but mostly positives and good VFM (currently £100)
I have a Dyson pet upright for downstairs hard floors and a Miele pet compact for upstairs and the stairs themselves. This vacuum draws comparisons between them. The bottom line is that there are 2 negatives, but lots of positives. If you need a vacuum where you regularly switch between hand tools and upright then you may have to switch tactics of doing all the floors first then nooks and crannies later. Switching quickly between hose tools and upright is annoying. To switch over to a tool you need remove the hose from its housing (it’s a separate attachment), connect it to the base of the vacuum, (remove the handle if reach is needed) attach your tool to hose/handle, vacuum up the cob webs in the corner, then disassemble to go back to upright. Then repeat this when you realise you missed a bit and need the crevice tool again. It sounds trivial, but it becomes a real annoyance if your need to switch back and forth. The other negative is that the vacuum is not good on stairs for 2 reasons. One is that the hose is not long enough to reach up more than a few steps, so you have to bring the vacuum with you. The other is that the tool for stairs is not particularly wide. Now for the positives: Compared to my Dyson it does an equally good job on carpets and hard floors. It is lighter than my Dyson, has a slightly longer cord length (1 plug in my hall and I reach all rooms downstairs). Both Dyson and this one can be quite hard to push on thick pile carpets on full vacuum, but the vacuum can be eased back. The roller brush can also be switched off, but best kept on for carpets. The filters are easy to get to, easy to clean and the bin is just as easy to empty when full. A big positive for me is that the exhaust air isn’t blown directly downwards like my Dyson. The Dyson can sometimes blow dog hair and dust out of the way when vacuuming, but this one doesn’t suffer the same. The biggest positive is that pound for pound, this one is much better value for money. The current cost is £100 which is a deal maker for me. You get a lock of suck for your buck.

Attachment parts break easily
I've had my vacuum for about three months now. I cannot fault its suction power but the plastics which are used for its attachment tools, and make up the main body, are brittle and break easily. On the first day of use the dusting brush broke after attaching it to the hosepipe. Two weeks ago, the hosepipe fixing clip which fixes it to the vacuum when not in use broke off too. Last week, the support that holds the crevice tool to the cleaner broke off when the vacuum brushed against the sofa. I certainly wouldn't buy another and wouldn't recommend it at all.
