Wow! This is perhaps the best purchase I've ever made on Amazon. I am very impressed with the quality for the price. Some 1-star reviews had made me apprehensive, but I absolutely love it. Probably the only negative is that it could be a bit small for a tea party, but perfect for 1-2 people. Spout does not leak, making a clean pour every time--so important for hot beverages. Glass handle stays relatively cool after heating. The metal strainer is very fine so it works well for fine loose leaf teas. I also really like the lid: plastic handle stays cool and it's easy to remove/clean. I was considering another similar product that had a hinged lid but I'm so glad I decided on this one. I also happen to have a glass lid from a mug infuser set that fits perfectly on top when I only want to boil water. If you're in doubt, definitely go for it!

I'm very pleased with the quality of this teapot. The stainless filter and lid are nicely finished and it all fits together nicely. Although it seemed really small when I first opened the box, I realized that it is after all the size it claims to be, and easily holds two mugs of tea. It's just physically smaller than the typical ceramic teapot of the same capacity.The only negative is that the lid only fits into the strainer, so to avoid over extracting you have to remove the hot strainer, empty it, and return it to the pot -- a minor hassle. Otherwise it's great, The clear glass makes it easy to see the strength of the brew, it doesn't dribble when pouring, and the handle stays cool.

I read reviews of so many glass teapots before deciding on this one. I bought it as a gift for my mother and since she was staying with us for a week when I gave it to her I got to try it out. I used it on a gas stove. The thing that I found surprising is that the handle of the teapot does not get hot so you can easily handle the teapot without the need for a hot pad or oven mit. It makes 2 servings (6-8 oz each). It is very easy to clean. It works very well, I am very pleased with it. We used it about a dozen times in a week and I decided to order one for myself the day my mother left with hers because I missed having it.

I wanted a small kettle that was easy to clean, and this kettle was a perfect fit. My only concern was that the glass is rather delicate. I use it every day, and months after buying it, it slipped while I was setting it in the drying rack and shattered in the sink. I emailed the manufacturer, explaining what had happened (clearly my fault), and they sent me a new one free of charge. Thanks Ecooe!

Bought this product December 31, 2016 and just over 2 months it cracked on the stovetop. Product failed. Return period expired! Save your money and buy somewhere else.Update: 3/23/17 The company sent a free replacement. I thoroughly searched for micro cracks but did not find any. The kettle seems to be holding up but we'll see. Good on the company for standing by their product, maybe I just received a bad one.

This little teapot will hold 3 cups of tea. It will fit just like a large mug in my one-cup-at-a-time coffee maker. It's not a Kerug, but works like one. Assemble the pot and infuser with tea leaves measured in it, leave lid off and run the plain hot water into the tea leaves. put the lid on and let it steep. Perfect tea every time.
