Came looking used, with some damage..
I received one that had some damage, looks semi used. Don't appreciate that. Looks like the sticker was re-stuck on with lint trapped under. I understand it was $10 but I paid for a new product, not used. I might return it for that reason. The stand itself is small, light, and cute, being as it's so small and compact. It's a nice size for being inconspicuous and handheld. I have seen a video on here where the phone drops to the side when set on the tripod, it will not drop if you balance the tripod to a wide stance, but you lose some height (obviously) the wider the legs are spread, that's the downside. Another thing that can be improved is the little dangly piece that is meant to be used to tighten the ball in position, be made a little more stiff. It makes tapping sounds as it dangles hitting the tripod, and for a vlogger, this becomes a problem while filming.

Do not buy
I mounted this thing on my ebike (for live stream) and the first bump I hit, the phone mount snapped, my phone fell and shattered into pieces (fortunately it's a cheap phone that I'll be replacing soon). I've had this thing for about a week and only used it once... I blame myself for going cheap and take it as a lesson learned.. I'd return it, if it wasn't already broken

Cheaply made.
It is pretty cheap plastic but I knew that when I ordered it. I ordered this to hold a laser for stop action photos so I don’t need anything heavy duty. As for the guy who used it on his bike, not a smart move as soon as I took it out of the box I thought no way would I use it for anything expensive!
