A brilliant product!
A year ago we had a plumber repairing a leaking toilet cistern in the bathroom and he put all his metal tools in the bath while he was working. Later we noticed that where his wrenches and spanners had been there were six or seven areas where the surface of the bath had been scraped, plus several scratches and chips all around the plughole area. This looked unsightly, but we didn't want to have the whole bath resurfaced or even a new bath because of a few scrapes. Then I found this product! It comes in a Tippex-like container and has its own brush. You simply shake it for 2 minutes and then paint it on the damaged areas. Several thin layers are best and it is easy to get just a small amount on the brush and dab it on where necessary. I found a good way to fill deeper chips is to dab a good blob of the paint on so that it fills the hole and then immediately wipe the excess off with some toilet paper. Although it looks a brilliant white when it is first put on, it darkens slightly as it dries so that you don't notice that it is there. The only downside is that you have to wait 4 days for it to really harden before putting hot water in the bath, but 4 days wait is better than buying a new bath. I was so pleased with the result that I put some on a cracked tile in our shower room and the crack is no longer noticeable, and I have also put some on a radiator where there was a small area of rust - which was easier than painting the whole radiator. There is a lot of the product and as you only use a very tiny amount at a time, it should last a long time (as long as the cap is screwed on tightly) should any future damage occur.

Good product but requires care when using
Good product but requires care when using. The fluid is very runny, so beware of excess fluid running down the brush STEM when you think you've only got a bit on the brush head itself. This happened to me as I was carefully filling in the chip with the brush head and resulted in a blob on the bath that is difficult to get off. Recommend trying to scrape off fluid from the brush stem on the bottle neck before applying a VERY small amount to the chip from the end of the brush head. Plenty in the bottle, so try on another surface to practice. You need a practice to avoid a blob or over-application - there's always more on the brush/stem than you think!Applied 3 thin layers to the chip and now it's virtually invisible, so well pleased with the product, and now I'll know how to avoid blobs next time!

A very white white
This is like a bottle of white out fluid that typists might use and comes with a brush in the lid to paint it on with. It is a very white white, and stood out when I applied it to a cracked tap hole blanking cover in my kitchen sink, so I ended up having to paint the whole blanking cover rather than just the crack. It needs a really good shake before being applied and the painted area has to be kept dry for 4 days afterwards. It is also vulnerable to cleaning products and disinfectant. Overall it's OK but because the bright white shade of this product makes it stand out so much I think I will end up just buying a replacement tap hole blanking cover.

Simple and effective for small chip in shower tray
Used this for a small 3mm shallow chip in ceramic shower tray (black base showing through). Very easy to use - after cleaning and drying the area I just put a small drop of the stuff in the chip and it filled the cavity nicely. Colour was slightly different when wet but dried pretty much identical to the white ceramic. Left it for 24 hours to cure and since then have we used the shower daily as normal. The touch-up still in place after several weeks, but I reasoned that even if it did not last for very long, it would be simple to repeat the process. The stick is small but would do a small chip dozens of times.

Repaired a chip in the enamel of a bath
Used to repair a chip in the bath when a tile fell onto it. It comes in a bottle with a brush attached to the lid, just like Tippex or Liquid Paper. There are the same issues, you have to shake the container for a couple of minutes to ensure mixing but then the brush is totally covered in liquid. While you can scrape it off on the side it is awkward to deal with fine detail. The colour was bright white and the dent became invisible in the bath unless you knew exactly where to look, so did the job. Says only to be used up to 60C but as hot tubs only go to 40C, a normal bath should be no problem.

Did the job
I bought this product to fix a chip in the bath tub. I'm not very good at DIY but found the instructions easy enough to follow and only took me approximately half an hour to complete the job. I found it quite difficult to get a smooth finish over the chip with the little spreader it provided but that could be down to my technique rather than any deficiencies in the product. As other reviewers have stated, it may be wise to do several coats to get the perfect finish but I didn't bother. The leak has know gone so it definitely got the job done!

Easy to apply, good finish.
Good finish on polymarble sinktop. However colour doesn’t match well, alpine white comes out quite grey. Any help to source a ‘whiter’ white would be appreciated.
