Bought this to Ref Hockey and it works but it's not as loud as the other options.Had multiple comments that it's not loud enough

I work on a football officiating crew. As a Line Judge, I (along with my Head Linesman) am marking progress and unusually will blow the play dead. I work two whistles, one lanyard for killing the play for dead ball infractions and then promptly switching to my finger whistle once we go live. It is loud, crisp and durable. This is my 6th year and only now replacing my first one.We don't use Fox 40s as they simply don't cut through like a Thunderer. Only regret is that an American manufacturer doesn't make a comparable device. If you are going to be officiating a game this is your best tool.

I've been coaching soccer and wanted a finger whistle so I didn't have to fumble with one around my neck. I wanted a non-pealess design, which is to say I wanted a pea/ball in my whistle. The reason is because I've tried pealess whistles and I just don't like the sound of them. This sounds more like a traditional whistle and is made of metal instead of plastic, giving it a durable feel. I highly recommend this.
