The second one I bought can I get the third free (hehehe)
Really awesome toy. Quality building and simple to put together once you what a you tube video. The instructions for putting it together are terrible... please do better illustration the kid cannot follow it and he is accustomed to following complex Lego instructions by himself,

We bought the blue truck version of this a while back for my nephew's 4th birthday. It went over so well that we just ordered this one for my son for Christmas. It comes in attractive and sturdy packaging. The car itself is made of high quality plastic, and the tools work perfectly. It's a different take on the Transformers-style toy that requires more work, in a good way. A great gift for mechanically minded kids.

Great for children who love to build and take apart!
My 3-year-old (almost 4 in 2 months) Loves this toy. He builds then takes it all apart and rebuilds over and over again. You can make three toys out of this toy.You have one (a big robot) that uses all the parts (minus two screws) and then the child has the option to take that apart and make a car with some of the parts and with the rest can make a smaller robot. It has a lot of parts and appears to be overwhelming at first, but my 3-year-old just got this toy yesterday and can make the toys without help.I sort of wish it came with like a little baggy or something to store all the parts in.Also, the drill is useless. It's not strong enough to drill the screws out and the way they have it set up to go forward and reverse is a little hard on my son’s small hands to do.But honestly the screwdriver that it comes with works great and my son doesn't seem to care that the drill isn't great (he just doesn’t use it.)Overall such a fun toy and if your child loves to build and take things apart this toy will be awesome for them!Update 11/2020:This toy is still a popular toy for my child. He’s 6 now and still loves it. The only thing I’d say negative about this toy is after MANY uses the screws become useless.. the material they’re made out of just wears down and they stop working. I wish there was replacement parts for this toy.

OK toy but may be difficult for independent play in younger children.
My son really wanted this and so I caved for his B-day. It is an okay toy but difficult for a 4 yo to do by himself. I am trying to encourage him to be independent with is play but that is challenging if he can't get a toy together without help. Overall, once we help him put it together it doesn't stay together while he plays. I like the idea of a toy that makes him think but this is a little over a 4 yo head and even my 7 yo has trouble following the very sparse diagram that serves as instructions. I wouldn't buy it again.

Nice, but can improve
This toy was bigger then I exspected so that was nice. Kid seems to really enjoy it.. one thing that could improve is on the drill when kids are changing out between Phillips or flathead, popping it in is a little hard but SMALLER KIDS (under 6) SHOULD BE EXTRA CAREFUL due to it being difficult popping out not to pop your eye out! Ours popped it out too close to his face trying to remove it on his own. So far it’s a win with him though. I’ll update if there’s any future issues.
