The coils got rid of my rough idle and engine stumbling under load. I have a cold air intake, catback exhaust and programer in my truck. The best it has ever run; more power and better gas mileage. Highly recommend this product!

exactly what I expected very happy with the coils

I'm a gear head and have used MSD for years. With these the Boots are a little shorter than stock brown boots on my 09 5.4L 3 valve but fit and work perfectly. Very noticeable improvement in throttle response and pick up. Doubt there's any HP gain but considerably better response and pick up. Seems to run a little smoother at interstate speeds as well. I had a little bit of a shudder at highway speeds which is why I changed them and plugs at 86,200 miles.

This says it fits 2009. In late 2007 ford changed the cylinder heads with the updated spark plug and new brown coil boots. These changes took effect in F150's built after may 2007. These have the shorter black boots and springs on them. Although it says it fits 2009, it doesnt out of the box. You either have to reuse the old boots and springs, or spend another ~$40 for new boots and springs. Wait, why should i have to pay for new boots when the product description says it fits the later style heads since all 2009 f150s came with the new brown boots. I shouldn't have to use old boots and springs and discard the new boots and springs when the listing says it fits f150's with brown boots.
