These mikes work ok but only have a thin layer of insulating material on the back side; so placed e.g. on a conference table the insulation is too thin to dampen e.g. the noise of cups, glasses etc when they are put or moved on the table. Therefore it's a pity that no screw thread is integrated on the back side of these Samson mikes to accomodate a professional table tripod!

We have a weekly hybrid zoom meeting some of the group is in the room others are online. Traditional microphone were not very good at picking up voices in the room. Therefore people on zoom could not hear them. This omnidirectional microphone provided a great solution. Now online people can hear the group in the room

Purchased to record a series of round-table focus group discussions, this microphone proved very effective and is recommended. Works best in rooms with few hard surfaces, as the omni-directional pick-up pattern means that echos are almost as loud as the original sound. The CM11B plugs into any USB input but needs a phantom power supply to work. Budget for the Behringer PS400 Micropower Phantom Power Supply as well, if you do not already have audio equipment that supplies phantom power or wish to make this part of a permanent installation.
