Nice!
For the price this is a really cool little weapon. The design is very original and the materials used are of good quality. The blade and liner lock are made of really thick steel. It's small enough to carry but large enough to do some damage. I don't know if I would use this for utilitarian purposes but seems like it would be a formidable self defense device.

Fun tool.
I work as a paramedic and I EDC this tool on and off duty. It's an innovative design. Cool to have a mini tomahawk in back pocket. Has a good weight to it. Steel is a little weak but it is so thick that I doesn't matter too much. Punched holes in soup cans with ease. Did scuff up the finish badly though. Looks very intimidating as a self defense tool. Easy to deploy one handed. Back end thumb stud "sprocket shape" lends it self to several creative uses like breaking glass etc. Thickness and shape of tool lend itself to light prying just don't go too crazy cause it has its limits. Can't really chop down trees or anything really wild. All in all it is what it is. An interestingly shaped pocket knife with a shape that lends it self to some unique uses, like a chopping movement. Lost a star only because tip of handle end rubbed a hole in my 5.11 taclite pants after a few months of EDC. Recommend covering tip of handle end with tape or something so it doesn't abrade a hole in pants. Otherwise, very fun tool. Definetly a conversation piece at least.

more like a whittling or notch tool
well built, more like a whittling or notch tool.not really an axe, would buy it twice if it was twice the size.it's size narrows it's diversity, hence the 3 stars,I should've caught the dimensions on the ad,worth the loot, just not anything I'ld call an axe.

One Star
I can't imagine what this thing can possibly be used for. Awkward design

Action is smooth and can be flicked open easily. No problems opening or closing it
Very interesting knife. Came decently sharp out of the box, but nothing to write home about. Very beefy construction and quite hefty blade. Action is smooth and can be flicked open easily. No problems opening or closing it. Ignore the negative what you may have heard about this axe!

NEW
I OWN SO MANY FIELD HATCHETS AND TOMAHAWKS I WOULD HAVE TO COUNT, SOME ARE EXCELLENT SO IS THIS BUT WITH A HUGE VITAL DIFFERENCE. IT IS A BETTER MOUSETRAP, IT REALLY WILL CUT DOWN GOOD SIZED SAPLING AND SPLIT WOOD, BUT IT'S LIGHT AND IT FOLDS SO YOU CAN CARRY A REAL HATCHET IN A TINY STRIPPED SURVIVAL KIT. THIS IS THE MOST IMPRESSIVE NEW EDGED WEAPON/TOOL SINCE THE INVENTION OF STEEL. NOT TO DISCOUNT MULTI-PURPOSE TOOLS LIKE KA-BAR'S EXCELLENT HEAVY BOWIE, BUT IT'S NEW AND IT FITS AN IMPORTANT NICHE.

Nifty little axe
I like it for the most part. It has a good weight for the size. Its more of a self defense tool than anything. Its not gonna chop much more than tinder.

Not worth it
It isn't sharp. I'm sure it is good as a regular Axe. But it is not a slick tool as a concealed throwing axe
