I love it, just love it!
This thing is excellent, I connected my DVR to it so that I could connect it to my TV in the living room. My DVR comes with an IR handheld remote and it worked absolutely great! While I'm not sure if it's any cheaper than running just a extra long HDMI cable, an HDMI cable doesn't carry IR signals. So I've got to say this thing is great! Easy to use, easy to connect. I plugged it in and it just worked, you can't ask for much more than that.

Great build but not HDCP 2.2 compliant
Well built and rugged system but sadly, not HDCP 2.2 compliant, so was trying to run high end 4k cameras with 1080p coming out of HDMI and just got blue screen!tried 3 other brands until it was pointed out to me about HDCP and bought the right one and worked straight away, so for low end input outputs should be fine but check your out first

40m Lan Cable - Works
I have several Orei's products, the previous extender which states capabilities to reach 60m, could not work on a 40m Lan cable. As for this, it worked. The only downside is that it requires power on both ends. No POE.

crashes my entire network
This product does not play nice with other network devices. When attached to my network that has ASUS RTN66U routers (1 as a router, 4 others running as APs) running Toastman TomatoUSB, the RTN66Us stop responding. They *ALL* have to be power-cycled to get any of the network running again. The sender module sends UDP packets from 192.168.168.55 port 48689 to broadcast (255.255.255.255) port 48689. That seems to not affect my system. But, once the receiver is connected (even without the sender), my system stops responding.

Excellent product for what it does
Excellent product for what it does. We use 20 of them in our office and home. Easy to duplicate signals across basic switches. Switch just rebroadcasts the packets from the sender unit to the broadcast IP (255.255.255.255), the switch just sends this to every port. Will send about 2000/pps to the network, roughly 30-40Mbps. Some routers/firewall won't like this, but use a dedicated VLAN or broadcast domain and you will be golden.
