I wanted to get a few different colored pens that wrote very finely and these fit the bill exactly. I use these for my bullet journal and they work great for that purpose.The pens don't leak through the page to the other side which was the main problem I had with Sharpie pens or gel pens. These pens also write very smoothly and don't smear or have ink leaking out of them. I've had problems with Bic roller balls that do that.The four colors work for all my purposes and I use these for everything now from check writing to letters to around-the-house use.

Pilor Precise V5 Retractables are the only pens I use. Do not confuse them with V7s if you like a finer, cleaner look. Also, you can order refills rather than sending the casings to the landfill. I gave these 4 stars rather than 5 only because black ink is so practical and I use these colored ones less than I thought I would.

I am a self-proclaimed pen snob. I love this pen! It's the ONLY pen I use and they are scattered around the desk, the office, the kitchen, the car. :) I prefer to always use blue for work, but I ordered the multicolored pack and find myself using the green and red for jotting down things. I just love these pens.

The black pen was defective ( would not write after 1 successful use on normal writing paper).I love these pens and have been using them for several years!

These pens are absolutely my favorite to write with for anything. Once you use these pens you will not want to use any other pens.
