So I pick up The Kingdom and am impressed by Nesbo‘s talent as a story teller. Great story line, well developed characters exposing human desires, weaknesses, loyalty, betrayal and absolute ruthlessness when necessary. The story continues with Blood Ties which I found not as good as The Kingdom. Review: an interesting novel - The novel is a page-turner.

The Kingdom
I first read 5 Harry Hole books before I thought about reading some „other“ Jo Nesbo books. So I pick up The Kingdom and am impressed by Nesbo‘s talent as a story teller. Great story line, well developed characters exposing human desires, weaknesses, loyalty, betrayal and absolute ruthlessness when necessary. The story continues with Blood Ties which I found not as good as The Kingdom.

Nesbo in great form.
Jo Nesbo never disappoints. Probably one of his best. I didn’t even miss Harry Hole too much.

Es una excelente novela de un gran escritor noruego, con mucho suspenso y muy buenas reflexiones sobre la vida y la muerte.
