ROYAL OXFORD Luxury Kick Mats, Obsidian Black, Extreme Durability - Set of 2, Extra Large

We bought two sets of these for our cars. The material is decent quality and has held up now for a few months with a lot of action. The only gripe I have, and reason for 3 stars, is that the connection to the seat itself is lacking. The buckles slip a lot and come undone, and the way it is designed makes it difficult in a modern car w/ electric seats. Either the connection sticks up badly on the seat itself, or you have to try and snake it through the bottoms where the seat connects to the vehicle chassis/body. This was not easy given the snaps continually give out with minimal pressure.

Feels solid, fits well (Honda Odyssey). 3 stars for missing finishing details. In particular, the tag on one of the mats was sewn on backwards!UPDATE 7/28/16: I was pleasantly surprised that the seller contacted me based on my review and wanted to make things right given the "defective" product. After a couple of messages and mulling options, a new set was shot out to me -- I just got notified this morning of the shipment and the next surprise was it has already been delivered -- a perfect set! If I could give 4.5 stars (in fairness, I still have to ding that 1/2 star for initial quality control), I would, but the exceptional old-school customer service just earned the round up!

The elastic band tends to slide right out of the plastic connectors when installing. I actually think velcro would be nicer and allow for more installation options between cushions etc. I would also just get rid of the pockets, or offer a choice. They tend to just start looking junky when they are filled with stuff and make it harder to wipe down and clean. Otherwise minor suggestions for a quality product.

If you're looking for something to protect your seat back from kicks, this is excellent. It's not a huge backseat organizer (it does have a couple of smallish pockets good to hole a couple of things). I previously had a similar product from Britax, and this is much superior -- the material is much nicer and more durable, the coverage area is better, and the two straps are more adjustable. Each one took perhaps 30 seconds to install properly. I'm pretty sure my daughter will stop kicking before I'd need to replace these.

So far so good. I installed these in our 2014 Ford Explore a couple of weeks ago and they fit well and were very easy to install. the pockets to hold small items come in extremely handy for toys and other kid essentials and the mats protect the seats well from dirt and water from the kids' shoes.

We just got ours a few days ago, so while I can't comment much on durability, I can say that the mateial looks really nice, the adjustment is sturdy and easy, and the coverage is great. And the upper pockets are a nice bonus.

Great product and very pleased with it I have one recommendation make the lower straps about 4 or 5 inches longer so they will stay buckled. I had to use small safety pins on the end of the bottom straps so the strap would stay attached to the buckles. Staps were to short on my 2016 2500HD Dodge Ram. They will protect my seat back very well. Thanks for a well made product.
