We got these based on the measurements of the bands the ortho gave us and these are a lot thicker which keeps them from busting, which is why we tried new bands. Took some getting used to but if you stretch them out before putting them on, that helps a lot! I used to wake up with the ones from ortho busted on my pillow or they'd bust while at school - hasn't happened with these thicker ones.

About these to have a spare for my son to use on his braces. The boy goes through more rubber bands than anyone I’ve ever seen in my life. These are just like the ones that orthodontist gives him. Highly recommend if you have a child like mine.

I recently purchased the JMU Orthodontic Elastics 1/8 Heavy, and I have to say, I’m quite disappointed. These rubber bands are incredibly difficult to put on. Despite being advertised as latex-free and high-quality, they lack the necessary elasticity and flexibility, making the process of attaching them to my braces a real struggle. I expected a smoother experience, but instead, I found myself frustrated and wasting a lot of time. I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone looking for easy-to-use orthodontic elastics.

These orthodontic bands were great for the beginning part of my sons braces journey and it helped him get to the end of his braces journey.

I needed silicone because I'm allergic to latex, this was a good amount for the price. They're a little thin but they work. Once in a great while I would come across one that was Not usable because it didn't come out of the form right or whatever. It would snap. My husband complained that they snapped on him all the time but that was not the case with me at all, he tends to try to stretch his mouth open with his dental device in and so naturally a tiny little rubber band is going to snap. Overall out of a thousand of these only a handful broke. And the price was good. I would buy them again and I'm going to.

I ordered the exact same specs as my orthodontic elastics (3/16" 4.5oz) and these are not the same. They are wider in width but not as strong. Much more stretchy and they snap. Nice because theyre clear but if you need a particular size I don't recommend these.

The bands my dentist gave me were awful even though they were Invisalign brand. They wouldn’t last longer than 5 minutes even if I just kept my mouth closed.Desperate, I searched the internet and found out about this brand. Ahhhhhh. NO ISSUES!!!! Latex free. They last for HOURS! I could probably wear the same ones all day if I wanted to. Great price. I recommended them to my dentist!!!! Haha!

These orthodontic bands are easy to install and work perfectly.
