I like these baseplates for the price. I used them to make a Lego table to set up a town for my daughters. Like others, we have some issues with fit for larger blocks. Lego brand WILL fit - even large baseplates (like the bottom of a house) if you press really hard or hammer it down (I just used my fist). They fit, it's just *very* tight.Just be aware that large pieces of other brands do NOT fit these plates. We have a lot of megablock Barbie sets, and I can get the bottoms of sets put down, and one corner always pops up no matter what I do. It's frustrating, but not a deal breaker. If you are using these just for building regularly, and not setting up a village these are great - they work excellently for basic build play with smaller bricks. If, however, you are trying to set up a townscape, it might be worth it to shell out for actual Lego plates.

Great cheaper alternative to other name brand boards. This set comes with 6 square boards - 2 of each color and is totally comparable with the LEGO brand. We lay this out and put our lego blocks over it and build all over it. It works great and we have no issues with connecting the boards together.

I read a lot of reviews before ordering, and the positive ones were spot on. You really can't beat the price for this product, and we got lucky that the 6 plates will work perfectly to convert my son's old train table into a 20 x 30 Lego/Duplo table. Couldn't be happier with it, especially with Lego plates costing $8 a piece!

I was a bit nervous to order these because of the low price but was I ever surprised to find they fit perfectly! I got these for my classroom's new lego center. I glued the plates to a table I bought. I had to trim a few of them to match the table size but it was very easy to cut with a box cutter. I am so happy with the price, too! I would definitely buy from here again!

Perfect. Grandson loves building and we made a giant table with these affixed. Very nice and quite a price difference as compared to brand name.

Works well with Legos. Kidd have not noticed any difference.The only warning is that they can only be used as base plates. They cannot be stacked. Not a big deal if you are building a table, like myself. It is worth mentioning ,though. Colors are nice, and they seem to be pretty durable. Been stepped on a time, or two, and no cracking. Looking forward to more Yardee products in the future.

These are great for building a house, but if you're building with Lego base wider than a standard block it doesn't work. It's weird. Only the small lego base pieces won't fit. So if you're building a castle and have a "floor" you used to build it on, the "floor" does not work with this baseplate. But if you build your castle directly on the baseplate it works.

I was a bit worried if the plates would really be compatible with the Legos we already had and to my surprise they were. I ended up making a Lego table for the children I Nanny. As you can see in the pic, they have gotten very creative already. Great product!
