i had the same issues, but ordered from a different seller. that one was better, no sediment, but not as strong as it was years ago. still works well for me.

no the bottle shape is different.

Q: Just received the newly packaged astring-o-sol bottle. the formula says it's the same but it does not turn "white" after mixing. it seems weaker?

I have been using this product for many years now and it always turns white when mixed with water, does not matter the proportion. So, if it doesn’t, the product might not be good or the manufacturer changed the formula. In such case I would return the product. Good luck
