Stellar natural grasshopper killer!
We have purchased Semaspore from Planet Natural.com for the last 20 years. This year I found out they are selling out and the whole place is in transition and you cannot buy from them till the transfer is complete - FREAK OUT! Out grasshopper plague is HUGE this year and I didn't know what to do. We do not use chemicals in our gardens, without their killer we were not going to have any garden left for us. I got online with my Amazon Smile and TA-DA..found this stuff. It's PERFECT! Looks just like the Planet Natural stuff just a different name and brand. RELIEF!! Its tiny flakes and you simply sprinkle it around the plants. Grasshoppers (oh, and JUST grasshoppers - it does not affect any good bugs, animals, or humans-BONUS!) eat it, die, and the cannibals that they are eating their dead and also die: WIN-WIN!! I will be coming back for more soon - thank you NOLO!!

Incredibly effective and easy to use
This stuff is awesome. If you're wondering if it really works, it sure does. This is my second year using Nolo bait, and I have almost no grasshoppers left on my property. The ones I do find are small, weak, and soft-bodied. I can literally reach out and grab them crush them in my hand. They are obviously ill. if you have a large repository of grasshopper population near you, for instance if you are surrounded by fields of grains, then this might not work for you. I do not have a whole lot of influx of new grasshoppers, so this stuff has been wonderful for me. I distributed small amounts in my various vegetable gardens, using white plastic bins from the dollar store turned on their side, this keeps the brand from getting blown around or wet in the rain and grasshoppers are supposedly attracted to white things. I add another tablespoon or so to each box every 3 weeks or so across the growing season so there is always some fresh bait. Easy, and Incredibly effective. Totally worth what seems like a high price.

Easy to use and no price gauging
I was happy to find some since it hasn’t been manufactured in a year due to a plant fire is what I heard. I do hope it was not an expired product sold by someone. I used one bag so far and the grasshoppers are still small. I hope it works!! They are already starting to chew the leaves of my hollyhocks so we shall see. I have one more bag that is good until next month. I am happy that it was a normal price and no price gauging. I did have to pay for shipping even with prime but if it works I’m fine with that.

Nolo bait seems to work!
I will update this next year but for now it seemed when we spread the nolo bait in our yard it reduced the amount of grasshoppers by at least 25 to 50%. We had tons and it seemed like less after we spread the nolo bait but it wasn't a complete eradication which i didn't expect anyway. I hope next year we will have very few. I think the product works as it says.

and she loved killing the one she could get a hold of
We used NOLO Bait last year but could not see any difference from when we applied it over the following week. Just as many grasshoppers! This year we abandoned organic solutions and purchased Safer Insect killing soap. Within two days, my very skeptical wife could only find 2 grasshoppers remaining, and she loved killing the one she could get a hold of. So far, my experience with 3 different organic grasshopper eliminators has been a zero. Some of the biggest problems are all the finicky conditions that are required for application. Overall, I would like to go organic but so far I have seen no elegant solutions that are effective.

Didn't work
In the past I ordered Semaspore Bait which worked well. It had a shelf life of only 8 weeks if not refrigerated, and needed to be spread with no rain in sight for 48 hours. The NOLO bait didn't say anything about a shelf life and I spread it with the same criteria as I used to do with Semaspore bait. Unlike Semaspore bait, I have seen no reduction in the amount of grasshoppers and they continue to multiply. Maybe it was an old batch or something but I am very disappointed.

Awesome stuff!!!!
this is awesome. We were totally overrun with grasshoppers last year and then this year the hordes started early.I am a senior and I have NEVER seen so many grasshoppers in my whole life. I was so happy to be able to get 3 bags of Nolo Bait in June. I set it out in trays in the garden where the grasshoppers were destroying my garden and some at the house. it took about 3 weeks before I realized that the grasshoppers were down to a normal amount. Halleluia! My garden is coming back and it is so nice not to have grasshoppers all over my house. Well worth the investment.
