Cute and works great! (Update: until it doesn't)
2021 update: Alas, this little microwave died after just four years of loyal service. My spouse noticed that some leftovers he'd heated up one day were cold even after being "heated" for five minutes. Later that day we went to make some popcorn, and instead of popping the bag just got a big scorch mark in the middle of it. Thinking this was a fluke, we tried to microwave another bag, but the microwave wouldn't turn on. The outside of the microwave was REALLY hot. We removed it from the (wood) cabinet where it lived, let it cool off for an hour, and then it turned back on and it seemed to heat water fine. I'm sure the not-turning-back-on bit was a safety override for when this overheats....but at that point we were spooked by just how hot it had gotten. We called it a loss, cut the power cord off, and gave it to someone to use in their kids' play kitchen. Four years of use isn't GREAT, but after looking at reviews for other microwaves this size.....it just seems like they're all hit or miss, even ones from name brands like GE.Original review: Super cute microwave that just fit inside the space that we need. Our shelf is 12.5" deep, and this is 12.7" deep so it sticks out just a tad, but that's ok. It seems to heat things really well (faster than the bigger microwave that we used to have) and the defrost function really seems to defrost quickly, evenly, and without pre-cooking the food. I really like the knob that you spin to set the time (so cute!), and the 30 second push button is perfect for quickly adding time. I thought we might feel annoyed about having to turn the microwave ON each time we used it, but it's really not an issue. You do have to remember to clear any remaining time, however, if you want it to power off automatically. We've gotten tons of compliments on the look of this microwave. I wouldn't call it "mint green" however. It's definitely turquoise.

... microwave for a couple of months and I really like it so far
I'm updating my review. I've had this microwave for ALMOST A YEAR and I still LOVE IT. The controls are different from other microwaves but very intuitive. I use it every day for cooking vegetables, cereal, main dishes and heating drinks. It works perfectly. The only thing I would change about it would be to have a clock on the screen, but that's minor. People complained about the inside rusting, so I leave the door open for about 10 minutes after each use to make sure the steamy air can escape. Mine has absolutely no rust or any other problems. And it looks great! My original review:I've had this microwave for a couple of months and I really like it so far. It works well and goes great with my retro kitchen. It looks like it was made in the 1940's and fits perfectly on my 12 inch deep shelf, but the inside is bigger than most small microwaves - my big plates are 10 5/8 inches wide and they just fit. The only thing I would change about it, would be to add a clock. If it ever breaks down, and I can't find another one like it, I'm going to keep it just for looks.

Adorable--and great if you mostly reheat leftovers
I love this little microwave. I bought this one to replace a Panasonic 1200 watt behemoth. This one takes up less counter space in my tiny kitchen, so that's a huge plus. I use a microwave primarily for reheating cooked food and heating up soup and occasionally melting butter. If you use a microwave for things like popcorn, or heating frozen dinners, this might not be the microwave for you, because it isn't powerful enough for things like that. What I like about it is that I can reheat a chicken breast without overcooking it--my 1200 watt was hard to regulate and was really more power than I needed. It's also adorable and looks so cute sitting on my counter. I also love that it shuts itself off so it's not using any power while it's not in use. I have a clock on my stove, so it didn't bother me not to have one on the microwave (it's one less clock I have to change twice a year). I also love that it has a handle instead of a button--the button broke on my Panasonic and I couldn't even open the door to get my dinner out. Not cool!

Cool, compact microwave
It works really well for a low power microwave.Obviously, it's appeal is largely cosmetic, as it easily wins the beauty pageant ofmicrowaves. This is obviously why it can be priced almost twice that of comparably equipped units fromother manufacturers.I have it in a very small office, not in a separate "kitchenette", so the price premium wasworth paying for in my situation. For some reason, it not only isn't ugly, as most microwaves are,it's actually very pleasing to the eye. Whoever designed it landed on a sweet spot that I've neverpreviously seen in microwaves. On the downside, in terms of build quality, it's not exactly the sturdiest unit I've evercome across. The handle and the buttons seem a bit flimsy, so you must handle with care.A quirk on my particular unit is that there is a slight "tilt" of 1/8 of an inch to the right. There isa slightly visible "slope" to the right, which is 1/8 of an inch closer to the surface than the left. This results in the door swinging naturally towards the closed position if you let go of it.I considered sending it back as a result of this, but it wasn't worth the bother. It's a reallynice microwave, and it works well.
