Update: both failed after a year. One simply doesn’t charge and the other lasts for a minute or so before it gives up, too. I have an actual Makita battery that is maybe 3 years old that still is going strong.Original:I use these quite often - like every weekend. They're huge, which sucks, but they seem to be lasting after many many months. I'd say they last about as long as a super fresh brand new real Makita battery that is rated maybe 1.0Ah lower. I mean to say that it lasts as long as a smaller "real" Makita battery I have that is not much older than these. But for the price, job done, fella. Makita is out of their mind for what they want for their official batteries and, frankly, I'm not doing that again.

I have many makita power tools at work and home. I use these batteries at home because of less use. Cheaper than authentic makita. I've been using them for 2 yrs no issues

Update 12-27-2022. This is my second set of batteries I've ordered. They work great! Last long enough when used to keep me more than happy. At a much lower cost. There is a problem with the Inverted Fuel Tanks however... : ) They do not fit in my charger or some of my Makita power tools. The reason is that there is small plastic extrusion molded into the battery track. Can't explain why it's been engineered this way. If you grind this extrusion off flat with the track it fits in all my tools and charger and charges correctly. I've been using them for it seems like a year now with no issues. The first pair I used a razor knife to cut off the extrusion but a dremel tool works much better! Therefore I recommend these batteries as a reasonably priced alternative to the correct model of battery.

These work very well. So far, I see no difference from original batteries. I would purchase them again.

these are clearly not 6.0AH, as they reach full charged much more quickly than my genuine 5.0AH Makita battery. They also die much faster as well. The power they provide is acceptable, but these are definitely a cheap knockoff, and they perform like it. I don't expect these to last long. A year or three at the most, compared with my Makita batteries that lasted 15 years. If you're okay with all this, then no worries. It's an acceptable compromise for the low cost. If you're looking for a real Makita battery performance, be prepared to pay more.

Works twice as long and almost twice a powerful. A little longer to charge but who cares.
