Precision Laboratories PTC Paper Taste Test Strips for Super Taster Test - Vial of 100

I've known forever that something was different about me because of my sense of taste. I just used these strips and I still can't get the taste out of my mouth. I can hardly wait to try these on others.

My mom, daughter, and I all did the experiment. My daughter spit it out immediately. She’s 18, autistic, and has very limited foods she likes. My mom and I both felt it tased like normal paper, but after a few seconds more we started tasting the bitterness. I believe it’s suppose to be the immediate reaction that counts.

This was my first time using these. They are the perfect activity for the genetics unit after you watch the Amoeba Sisters DNA and chromosomes video, I think that’s the one. Pinky couldn’t taste anything with the strips and it’s pretty amazing to see the results. Loved it!

My husband and I tried the strips. He could not taste anything but paper. To me, the strip tasted more like alcohol than bitter. Don't know what that means. Definitely had a lingering taste, but not terrible. Had to rinse my mouth a couple of times to get rid of it. The only negative is that there are no instructions that come with it. I had to find a website that said not to eat or drink before using it.

Does what it is supposed to. We did genetic test for PTC. Some students had and some students didn't which proves it works.

These papers were used for an elementary genetic taste test and worked well.

sadly im no super taster but now I know not to brag about being one when im not!

Received the package in proper condition,though delivery was a bit late but the product was good. Bought the tasting paper for a project and it actually worked.

In linea con le striscette fornite da altre marche, ma in questo caso devo dire che il barattolino rende impossibile prendere una striscetta senza toccare le altre con le dita e questo è poco igienico purtroppo quando si effettua uno screening del gusto con diverse persone.

I ordered these hoping they would be a nice little test on genetics, But as soon as i open the package and inspected it the vials were completly shattered and broken. Edit: I received a replacement for free and they work great.
