A great addtion the Path of the rangers.
Pedro Urvi ‘s The Turquoise Queen is the eighth book of the Path of the Ranger series, which sits in between the Golden Gods and The Ilenian Enigma, it brings back all of the rangers in the next installment of the ongoing rangers epic. Each series can be read separately however. The story starts off in familiar ground with Lasgol, Camu, Ona and his dependable pony Trotter. Those who have read the other seven books up to this point will know the basic structure of the format. This is quickly dealt with before the main story arc takes shape. This time our ranger heroes are sent off on a mission to save the Norghana Capital and Empire from total defeat. Will the Snow Panthers survive this dangerous mission, only time will tell. The book is fast-paced and doesn’t let up in its action however there are some quiet moments within the story allowing the reader to take a breath and enjoy the interaction with the other charters.I really enjoyed this latest installment, in parts though the storyline did seem a little rushed compared to the others in the series though. It would have benefited from one or two more chapters towards the end. Of course, this could just be me wanting more.Overall The Turquoise Queen is a fun read which leaves you wanting more.

Better than the previous book
Having read this series I have to say that in terms of the story it is probably one of the less interesting ones. The first books in these series looked like they were following a good path but I had my doubts wether it would manage to stay to it's plot. However I have to say that it has kept me interested.Prrvious books have had issues in the writing and lots of repeated phrases, an example being "looked as though he/she had never broken a play in his/her life" and unsurprisingly this phrase appeared again. This book managed to avoid making any proper mistakes however with the previous books there definitely were.SPOILER FOR FOURTH BOOKOne example of this was in the fourth book were it states that everyone in his year was present when fake Uthar said who his mother was and as he got exposed. Then, a couple of chapters later Astrid asks him wether or not the rumours were true despite the fact she would've heard him confess to it. It's a sloppy mustake and there are several more in the earier books but as this series progressed the quality seems to have improved too.I was dissapointed at the length of this book but I did lik the fact they got together as a group again. The last book seemed to miss the mark in that way.Overral though I did enjoy this book but due to some of the reasons listed above I was unable to give it five star. I still found it a fun read and would recommend this book and the rest of the series to anyone around 11+. As a 16 year old boy who likes reading a lot I found this series a fairly interesting series so far and am looking forward to the next book.

Very enjoyable read, Mr. Urvi.
My only suggestion would be to have a bit more detail on your maps. When you refer to a location, city, etc., the reader shouldn’t have to search aimlessly for something that isn’t there.I love how you keep the storylines intertwining continuously from individual to group and such. Also, I highly praise your clean writing. I truly enjoy stories without graphic sex, vulgarity and inappropriate references. I am a fan and will be reading all your work. Thanks to you!
