Perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. Wish the colors got a liiitttle brighter, but that's not even enough of a complaint to warrant loss of a star. The pure white lights up a master bedroom well enough. I'll probably get a 2nd one, but more for multicolor effect than additional brightness.Edit: The remote went insane, turning on and off at random, changing colors and rapidly on its own, all without a touch. It would not turn off or brighten/darken. Any touch of the remote made it worse.and ultimately died within less than a month of the lightest use ever. We're talking on and off once or twice a day, maybe a change of color about twice a week depending on mood. There was no interference, so I don't know what happened. Even changing the battery didn't have any effect.Sorry, Texsens. I had high hopes, and you initially delivered. But ultimately, I've issued a return, and am going to give up and go with a Hue.

The light bulb works fine and it was fun until the remote stopped working. It stopped working after very lite use after about 3 weeks. I thought I needed to replace the battery and waited three weeks for those to come in the mail. Of course it's not the battery, it's the remote that stopped working for no reason. Now I just have a plain white bulb that cost $20 and it's past the 30 day return/replacement date. If only they would make a remote that didn't break down. Do yourself a favor and get one with an app controlled bulb. At least that won't break down.

This was a pretty cool novelty item but the controller never worked quite right. Actually it worked fine when it communicated, but that was sketchy at the beginning and after a few months it did not work at all. Changed battery, tried to reconnect, etc. No luck. So now I just have an expensive white LED bulb. I don't know what the problem is -- the product appears well made and was packaged very nicely.

This bulb lasted exactly 50 days before it quit functioning as described. It will no longer stay on a steady color. The designated buttons on the remote will no longer turn the bulb on or off or select a specific color or function. Very disappointed for the amount money spent on it. I strongly believe that this company should send a replacement bulb given the short life span of it, certainly not any 50,000 hours by a long shot!!

The remote is VERY handy ! Using the remote, the brightness can be adjusted as well as so many fun options! You can pick one color, or select flash, strobe, fade, or smooth which cycle through all colors.We will be able to use this for parties and special occasions. I absolutely love this convenient remote!

These types of bulbs are kind of gimmicky, but still pretty cool for mood lighting for parties, etc. This is my first time playing with one, so I don't know how it compares to name brands like Phillips that you'd find in Home Depot. Regardless, so far I like this bulb... just set your expectations; after opening the box, it's obvious this is another product from China so it does feel a little cheap (mostly the touch sensitive remote). Overall, though, it's a decent purchase if you just want to have a little fun without breaking the bank.The good:+ Nice looking box/packaging+ Good range of colors to choose from with the remote+ Despite the remote using RF, I had no issues with using the bulb hidden behind a lampshade+ Fun color transitions and different timings for that mode+ Remote is easy to use with touch; either tap areas on the color or brightness spectrums, or slide your finger left/right to adjust both+ Nice to be able to go straight to white light+ Have not had any flickering issues that another reviewer mentioned+ Bonus... mine came with some Chinese dragon... thing. Not sure what to do with it, but thanks!The Bads:– Remote feels/looks kind of cheap and cheesy– Wish there was also a button to go straight to a more standard, warm white as well as the bright white (if you prefer warmer colored light instead of the cooler, bluish white lights, you're out of luck. I wasn't able to mimic that very well by adjusting the color)– Would be nice if instead of a remote, you could control the bulb with an already existing brand's app (ie Philips)– Colors are nice, but don't get very brightOverall: great. If you have been interested in these types of bulbs, definitely a decent, low-tech starter to see if you like them.Note: I received this product in exchange for a review, but I review fairly with no BS.
