Lay-n-GoCosmo Deluxe Purple

I love it. However, I paid more than I wanted. And when I recieved the receipt with the product it claimed it was only less than half of what I paid. Pocketed over 50%... hmm

I've now used this on two trips and I'm really glad I bought it. It's handy and works exactly as described. I opened it up on the bathroom counter at home and, as I used items I would need, I put them in the bag. When everything I wanted was on the opened bag I placed the included storage bag over the center of the pile, then cinched the bag closed. Someone else reviewing earlier had suggested this as a way to keep smaller items from escaping as you can't quite get the bag to cinch completely closed. That tip worked great for me. I used the bag empty, but you could place some jewelry or cash or ??? in it. It is much easier to find the particular item you want when the Lay-n-Go bag is fully opened than it is to dig around in a typical zippered cosmetic bag.I definitely recommend the Deluxe 22" size. I cut a 20-inch circle of fabric and decided it was not big enough for my usual trip needs. I also considered making a bag, starting with a round quilted placemat for the inside and waterproof fabric for the outside. I could handle the construction of the basic drawstring bag, though I'd probably have not put in the zipper, but decided that purchasing the Cosmo was a better deal considering the price of material and the time to make it. The Lay-n-Go seems to be of good quality fabric and is nicely constructed. It's hard to say for sure how well it will stand up to washing, but if you're careful to close containers and not spill it will not be needing frequent laundering.

This is ridiculous. Lots of pulling and cinching to get it to have any shape to hold anything. Material very thin. Needs to be a thicker material, more stout to hold anything. Using this for make up means you risk all your powdered products to be broken. No thanks, this piece of junk is going back

I don’t like this. It doesn’t ever fully close. My makeup is always all over the place. I’ve seen ones that are great and close well. Disappointed!!!

I don't know what took me so long to finally order this, but I wish I did it a long time ago. I'm tired of digging in my makeup bags to find one thing and with this bag you don't have to worry about digging. There is a pocket for smaller items also so they won't fall out. I have already recommended to all of my friends.
