Sauder Select Mobile File Cabinet, Black finish

These look nice and work for side tables for my husbands chair. Too bad the drawers don’t work as soon as you put anything in them. We are going to end up throwing them out and getting something else.

This is a somewhat lightweight metal file cabinet with one large drawer and two small drawers. It arrived assembled (which was the reason we didn't order something made of wood) and all we had to do was pop the wheels on. This cabinet is very nicely designed, with every corner rounded (drawers and cabinet) which is great since I have it under my desk and I'm constantly bumping into it. I also like how the drawers close themselves when you push lightly.It's very nice-looking and the quality is very good for the modest price I paid.

Drawers slide well and are well balanced allowing you to lightly push an open drawer to close it completely. Aluminum encloses all mounting surfaces so the screws for installing the wheels expose no sharp or rough edges.Pretty well designed all in all.

Product arrived is fine condition and the wheels were very easily attached. In use the drawers slide open well and self-close when about half closed.

The bottom drawer can not bare the weight of hanging files without warping the roller guides.

This metal file cabinet looks great, but the bottom drawer does not work properly. You have to re-aligned every time you open it in order to close. Not a good construction. If I was aware of this, I wouldn't have bought it.

The construction of this cabinet is not sufficiently sturdy enough to ensure that everything lines up appropriately and the drawers can close completely.
