The Articulate Jazz Musician: Mastering the Language of Jazz (Teacher Edition),

I was told this would come with a poster, but it did not. Great jazz teaching method, and I wanted the reference for my students.

This book covers "articulation" of a jazz musician, but is also a great overall text to understand jazz phrasing. There is a ton of content in this book!! The chapters are well organized, the text is informative, and it s one of those texts, that we as music students and teachers have been waiting for for a long time. The example tracks (original songs by Mr. Coffin) are tailored perfectly for each lesson, and are expertly played by Coffin, as well as Victor and Roy (futureman) Wooten. I am definitely already teaching these concepts to private studens, and plan onusing them with the local high school jazz band that I work with. Kudos on an Awesome Book!!
