What board do i need to select inside arduino ide? i've already installed the esp32 library, but theres 50+ variants to choose from.

I just use the ESP32 Dev Module with the standard settings. Works for me anyway.

I think this might be a mistake in the description. ESP32 does have a temperature sensor, but it is for measuring internal core temperature. I've seen lots of mentions that this is now obsolete on most ESP32 builds.
