This bread box works well and looks good. Very sturdy construction seems like it should last a long time. Size is good for a large loaf of bread or two smaller loaves or other items.

I'm actually not using this as a breadbox. Instead I'm using it as a countertop storage cabinet for my oven mitts, the connector cord for a couple of small appliances. and a few frequent-use recipes. The box is nice looking, yet inconspicuous. I may buy a second one and use it for the prescriptions containers I keep on my counter for easy reach because I have to take them every day. This "breadbox" is well made, looks nice, and the sliding "door" works easily as well.

At first I was skeptical and when it arrived Iwas eve a bit more skeptical as it didn’t seem as sturdy asI had imagined, and it was a bit bent, however it looks great in the location I placed it and it actually works! If I left French bread out in its bag over night it was hard as a brick the next day. In this bread bin it’s soft for days! Pretty impressive.
