I like that it will flip and flop then stop then once it senses movement it starts flipping again. So if my cat walked away it’s not flopping for hours. It is a little loud but it doesn’t bother me. Great quality and adorable looking! We would definitely purchase again.

Ok, this thing is great and I’ve only had it a couple hours. I bought it because we have a foster kitten who is coming up on his first birthday and he doesn’t have any playmates because our cats are old and he’s getting destructive and bored. I saw an ad for this and immediately knew we needed it.I put it down and all of the cats in the house, plus our dog, surrounded it. It took a few minutes, but the kitten started smacking it. And then he was off. He likes to pick it up by the tail (which inevitably sets it off). It’s great. One of my older cats, who is 15, is pretty interested, and I have a feeling that our other older cat and the kitten’s feral momma will be taking turns when no one is watching.I’m glad it came charged so we didn’t have to wait to play with it. After a few hours of intermittent ply, Mr Fishy died, and had to be revived in a safe space where his lifeline could not be eaten. I love that it’s USB chargeable.I’ve had cats my whole life, and fostered hundreds. This toy is great and I wish it had come into my life sooner! If you have cats, buy one of these and give it a shot.I can’t speak yet to its durability or longevity but I appreciate that the fabric bit comes off so it can be washed or repaired.

Overall, a good buy. I was nervous because I fell for the imitation version last year. This fish actually flips and flops. The charger and cord worked like they are supposed to and the motor charges quickly. There is even a little sachet of cat nip included. My cat liked it immediately and still plays with it here and there. He likes to give it a slap as he passes it by on the floor. I recommend adding your own catnip to keep this toy appealing to your cat.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Not a cat person! But the neighborhood stray likes to come around and demand attention while I’m trying to peacefully enjoy my coffee on my patio. I got this and filled it with the included catnip. I toss it at him when he comes by for attention and he seems to enjoy playing with it. It flops around and squeals and occupies him so I can drink my coffee in peace!

I bought this because a friend's cat loves it. Not my cat. I'm giving it five stars w/o checking with the cat. She would give it a 1 but that's how cats are. She just looks at this thing flopping around and walks away. Likes her old wand toy the best so that's that. But, like I wrote, two friends' cats love this fish thing - throw it in the air, beat it, etc. It's well made and clearly durable. I'll find another home for it with a cat that might be interested. Anyway, if you're thinking of buying something like this, consider it. It charges via USB, so no batteries. A little charger cord comes with it.

She was a little startled by the movement of the fish but goes back to it when she gets curious or bored.My (small) dogs love it because it give our cat something else to pick on other than them lol

It was a Christmas gift for my cats and all three of them loved it. They played and played with the fish until my beagle-dog decided that she liked it too. She was able to destroy it by chewing on the fish's tail. I am going to purchase another fish because even my older cats, 12 and 14 years old who normally sleep throughout the day, got exited and played.My advice: Get it for your cat(s) it will be one of the best gifts you can get them!

I really thought my cats would go ga-ga for this toy, but all of them either don't care or are scared of the fish when it's flopping around. I even sprinkled the fish with catnip, and catnip mist spray, but not even that will entice them to play with it. I've turned it off, and try to encourage play with the fish like they do the other toys they have, but no luck.My cats are just garbage babies who prefer the box it came in.I plan to, if they continue to ignore it, ask my neighbor if her cat would like to try and play with it instead.

Otherwise, though, it’s awesome! The cat loves it and it’s so fun to watch him with it. I thought $24 was a lot for a cat toy, but am so glad that I splurged.

I floundered around for so long, trolling stores in search of the perfect cat toy. When I saw the Flopping Fish Cat Toy at such a good price, I thought there must be a catch. But I'm a sucker for a good deal and took the bait... and lo and behold, my cat and I were hooked.She's usually pretty koi when it comes to new toys. But with this one, she was lured off her perch when she saw how the tail had such reel movement, angling back and forth! And the fish appears to scale. I have a feeling it will become her sole toy.Keeping it running does en-tail periodic charging, but I won't carp about that. Just take any USB charger and snapper in place! Frankly, such a minor complaint would be a red herring. Overall, my Flopping Fish Cat Toy purchase has been a net positive. Don't jack around: order yours today!Fin.

I have a 6yr old cat, two 12year old cats and one is bigger and very lazy and then I have a 24yr old female who doesn’t really have an interest in toys so the chances of 1 or none of them liking it was high. As soon as I set it up all four cats came excited and loved it so much!! I’m so happy and I’m buying more so everyone can have their own. The quality is perfect! I do wish the bag of cat nip had a zipper so I could refill it myself. Please enjoy this video of my 24yr old cat cuddle playing with it. Definitely buy it is so worth it!!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  My cat is crazy for this toy. He will not leave it alone. I had to hide it when I'm charging it because he was trying to attack it while it was plugged in. He gets bored with his toys and that isn't the case with this one.

So my cats LOVE this toy!It arrived within 48 hours and came with a cord to charge it. As well as a little cat nip bag. I charged it for an hour and it ran for a few days. It will move while the cats are playing with But once they are done it won’t move again until it is hit which is awesome as it saves the battery.On a side note my elderly cat saw this and grabbed it off the table where it was charging and carried it over to her water dish and dropped it in! Lol I think she was trying to rescue it and although the battery/ charging pack IS NOT WATERPROOF I did dry it out for a few hours and it works fine!I like the fact that you can take the battery out and wash the actual fish part of they get it dirty! I have bought 3 more for different family members now and everyone loves it!No complaints!
