This bookcase is small but well made and looks nice. It was easy to put together as well. it fit perfectly avout 20 books which is what I needed it for.

Though it isn't important in terms of reviews I moved not too long ago. It was late summer of '23. Though I had bought a bookshelf for manga I put off getting another one for the rest of the books and the piles were gradually growing by the month.So I bought this one.Pros:- Assembly isn't too difficult. Any difficulty I had was mostly because I decided to put it together alone.- Perfect size for a manga shelf.- Looks Great.Cons:- Quite a few of the books that I wanted to put on this shelf wouldn't fit because they were just a little too big. Even though the shelves are adjustable I feel making room for the books that wouldn't fit with take away space from other books and I wouldn't be able to have it sorted as I would have liked.- It was shorter than I thought it would be with five tiers.Luckily since the spacing is perfect for my manga collection I decided to transfer the manga from my other shelf and used the other shelf for the books I've had piled up. So even though the outcome wasn't as I had wanted it still worked out.These shelves are good as long as the books you want to put on here are not bigger than roughly 9 inches. Since the books I get from Book of the Month are just slightly bigger they didn't quite fit. [This is if the shelves are evenly spaced.]I will probably buy another since my manga collection already filled this shelving unit and will continue to grow. Just probably won't be used for non-manga as most of my books came from Book of the Month.

I needed a Shelving Unit to fit a specific space. I found this same model available from big box retailers in the 6 foot version for half the price. But, I needed the shorter 52.7" version which proved difficult to find anywhere but here. The packaging was good, nothing was damaged. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. It came with a screwdriver and allen key. The only thing not provided was a hammer for the feet. The hardware was a little below average and it was a good thing they gave some extras of each piece as some were unusable. Like a missing phillips head, it was just smooth. And a cracked apart cam. Since this unit is black I was puzzled by the white cover for the wall attachment and the light brown plastic feet. The particle board pieces were nicely made and labeled. The holes were a little off , but worked without a noticeable misalignment. It was only noticeable to Me, who tried to hold it square while tightening. Read the other reviews carefully. Some people do not know how to follow instructions and blame the product. One such review complains about the back panel having tape on the front that looks horrible. In actuality they put the rear panel in backwards as seen in their photo. When assembled it is sturdy for what it is. I would recommend the bracket that holds it to the wall, it is skinny and with some weight on it could fall forward. And remember this is a really inexpensive shelving unit. I don't think it should be called a Bookshelf as books are heavy and I don't think you could put a row of books on each shelf. I am using this to hold 3D Printer Filament, so I am below the 11 pound per shelf limit. All in all, I am happy I could find it in exactly the size I needed.

Bookshelf is quite solid and looks great. Easy to assemble. Definitely good value.

I bought two of these bookshelves. I was nervous, because I've never put together a single thing in my entire life. While it wasn't difficult, the first one did take me 2 hours with no breaks. The instructions were pictures with no writing, and there were screws and pieces I had NO idea how to use. Lots of staring at the manual, and trial and error. But the second bookshelf only took me 30minutes!It would be soooo much easier with two people, but it's possible with one. Sliding the top half onto the bottom half was definitely the most difficult part. The back is thin, collapsible, and held together with duct tape. So it kept collapsing in on itself when I tried to slide the top down.While I hate the back of the bookshelf with a passion, the bookshelf as a whole is sturdy and well made. Looks beautiful, and is good quality for the price.

The bookshelf fit perfectly in my computer room, and looks fantastic. Sturdy design!

Obviously you can’t expect too much from a low priced bookshelf but this was still so disappointing. First, the back part of the bookshelf was soo cheaply made and easily chipped - not even sure if it was chipped before we opened it but pieces were pretty much breaking off of it as we were putting it together. And then the shelves were not wide enough.. like come on haha… There’s a gap on both ends when you lay the shelves down. And it’s not just that the shelf maybe was bubbling out - when you compare the shelves to the top and bottom boards, it’s smaller.. so that’s not ideal. But then what was more frustrating, bc I could look past all that.. is the little pegs that are given to be what you use for hanging the shelves hardly stay in and right when I started placing books on it, at least one of the pegs was just falling out - thankfully I saw it otherwise I probably would have books all over the floor right now haha.. the pegs in general aren’t super secure, but I think if the shelves were the full length of the frame, it might’ve worked.. but the combination is terrible unfortunately. I’m not sure what I’m going to do honestly..Also, it’s just very thin and not deep but I knew that going into it..

As you can likely imagine, this is a fairly simply and appropriately cheap book shelf. My husband, who is handy, made quick work of putting it together -- have a drill is helpful. I just wanted it for a large hall closet for some extra storage/organization. It is what I expected, but I should have paid more attention to the measurements, it isn't as deep as I would like it to be to for example, store folded sheets, it would be fine for books or kids clothes-- which again, my fault. I would have returned if we hadn't put it together, but it serves a purpose.

It fits in a narrow place and is perfectly sized for books. I use this for my home office. Very good construction and design

I recommend this bookcase for the price. It's not top notch quality, but it's sturdy and attractive and does the job. I was looking for an affordable, temporary option to keep my excess library organized until I can find a more permanent solution. This did the trick.
