I was so excited to find these tubes for making your own lip balm. I'm allergic to many of the ingredients in the store bought products so I have acquired the natural ingredients to make my own. These tubes seem to be exactly what I'm looking for! I love the fact that they come in so many different colors and they are made very well. The Caps fit on very snuggly and I'm hoping that I will have no problems with the liquid leaking before it hardens in the making process. I have not made them yet so I will update my review with pictures once I complete that step. They were packaged very nicely, they fit perfectly inside a box that was sealed and they came securely wrapped in a bubble mailer. I'm excited to use these and I'm hoping that they meet all of my expectations. I did receive these at a discount in exchange for an honest review and I believe in giving the most informative review possible to help other buyers make an informed decision. I'm an admitted lip balm addict. Have it all over the house, multiples in my purse, you name a place and I usually have a couple different products in the near vicinity. Started doing aromatherpy about a year ago. Took two online courses from a reputable aromatherapy school--Natural Living and Butters & Balms. At this point, I make a lot of my own skin care products. I also buy a lot of lip balm products. Even bought lip oil last Fall. Didn't like it. No staying power because it didn't contain beeswax. Up until this point, I've only made "pots" of lip balm. This was my first foray into making tubes. It was really easy.'You can do web search for recipes. Basically, you need oils/butters, beeswax and flavoring, if you want it. Last Fall, after the season was over, I read about dandelion salve. In addition to being good for pain, it's supposed to be very healing (cracked heels, hands, lips, etc.) After seeing my first dandelion this week, I decided to make an infused oil of dandelion. After it was finished, I made a salve and best of all--lip balm, so I could use my Lip Balm Containers Tubes by Basic Essential Bottles. (Balm is a little harder then salve, has a little more beeswax.) They worked perfectly. All I did is take an empty egg carton, turn it upside down and cut an "X" on top of the egg compartments, put the containers in each "X," so they would stand up and poured the balm. It was that easy. I snapped the tops on and was done. The snap tops should stay on, so no worry about that. The wheel mechanism pushes the product to the top smoothly. The Lip Balm Containers Tubes by Basic Essential Bottles are available in a variety of colors. I received the baby blue ones. They are darker then what's shown in the picture in the product description. A mixed color set might be good because you could put different flavors/recipes in the different colors without buying multiple sets the first time around.I did receive a discount on this product with the expectation that I provide an honest review. REVIEW OF DISCOUNTED PRODUCTThese are excellent and right up my alley. I enjoy making my own lip balms to give to friends and to put in gift bags.They are easy to fill, easy to use. The liquid I put in these was pretty hot. It melted my pipette, but did not even touch these at all. These are very high quality, sturdy, and thick plastic. Twist up fine and centered. No leakage, caps fit on well. They are the size of most standard lip balms that you would find in the drugstores or wherever.To me, there are no cons whatsoever.

These come in a small white box with a printed label on top as well as a safety taping. The tubes are super cute in baby blue and they works to very well I'm looking forward to ordering the pink set as well! So fun to have colors and while I'm using this box for my family and a few favors for a church event, they would also make great baby shower gifts! The dials work well and I have not found any malfunctioning tubes. Love them!. I hope this was helpful to someone!
