This mount nearly perfectly balances my camera (EOS77D) on a ball head tripod with the lens at 400mm, which is where it really matters, making it much easier to use. I can actually let go of the camera, and it stays where I left it without tightening the head. 10/10 for that! It's well made, and easy to attach (you do have to remove the lens, but I see no realistic way around that). My only complaint, which is why it gets 4 stars rather than five, is that you can't access the AF and VC switches. Given that the mount is CNC machined I see no reason for this. I do have access to CNC machining to I will just add a couple of extra slots, but this is obviously not a solution for most people.

It did not come with holes for the AF or VR - just for Lock - made of sturdy metal so I drilled a couple holes so I can now get to the AF and VR - holes are about 1/4" so can't get fingers in but I can use my pocket knife of paper clip or other such small device to get in to move the switches - works great now

It is a well made aluminum collar. Fits very well .... HOWEVER .... why did the manufacturer decided to put an opening for the Lock switch and nothing for the AF and VC switches. The collar has a hump so that it slips over both switches. It's like the AF and VC switches are in jail. Totally retard on the manufacturer part. Perplexed ..... Thinking about returning it.

The mount required removing the lens to attach or remove clamp.

Did not fit great. Covered the button to swap out lenses. Also does not align well. However it works.

Es un buen precio para el servicio que presta. Se consigue que la ballesta de la cámara no soporte todo el peso del lente, que una vez no tiene por qué pasar algo, pero muchas la puede rompres.Muy recomendable por ese motivo.

This accessory is a must buy for the Tamron 18/400 lens it takes some of the weight from the camera mount. Versatile tripod attachment. Recommended.

It served its purpose for me but may need simple manual and provide proper and safety use in order not to damage the lens because it may cause problem for newbies and not so careful users

Lo tuve que devolver porque no funciona , al colocar el anillo en su sitio, el zoom no se puede accionar de tan duro que va ..!
