Handy!
Makes a solid way to safely store your torch. Given the weight and mass of the gas, coolant and power cables makes just flopping the torch on your welding table a risky proposition. This gadget keeps the torch, and you, safe.Obviously the magnetic torch holder is useless without ferrous metal, but most welding benches are steel so there's little little problem. The magnet is plenty string enough to keep things from skidding around. All in all , a useful low cost addition to a TIG welder's work space.

Nice addition to a welding bench.
Nice addition to a welding bench. It is easy to place the torch on the stand, even with your hood down. The stand holds the torch securely even when the torch is placed on it in a hapazard fashion. Works with both TIG and MIG torches. I see no problem with rough edges or finish. I use mine without the foam pad and the gripping force of the magnetic base is substantial. If you want to move the holder it takes effort and it does not walk around on its own or fall over under the weight of the torch. Works equally well in the horizontal and vertical and underhand orientations. The supplied foam pad greatly reduces the grip and is cumbersome to use so I discarded it. If you want to reduce the grip I suggest a single layer of tape be applied to the underside of the magnet. This is a good product and I recommend it.

Simple but well made
Some reviewers stated the nut extends past the magnet and causes wobble. Flip the bolt around and put the nut on top. Problem solved 😮 If you’re building stuff and welding that should be a no brainer. This is a very well made torch holder. Thick gauge stainless and a very strong magnet. Nylon insert nut. Appears to be laser cut stainless with a nice looking logo. If you’re looking for a TIG holder this will work well. It should last a lifetime

Needs to be finished by buyer, otherwise good
It works well, probably a bit over complicated but it works and the price was OK. I knocked off a star because like others pointed out the edges are SHARP. They have done no deburing and while not exactly razorblades the edges could easily nick you hose. I knocked the edges down with a flap wheel so it has some scratches on it now, which is fine (you don't want your tools looking too new ;~) ) but I will probably spend some time with a Dremel or something. I thought about dipping it in some wrench dip but the holes are not that generous in the first place so?But it works. The magnet is if anything too strong, this thing is not going anywhere. One other? is the foam disk that comes with it. No idea what it's for and no instructions etc so? I thought maybe is was an anti scratch pad for using on a finished surface, but it's too thick so the magnet barely holds if the foam is under it so?

Strong magnet, hangs cords In all positions
This has a real strong magnet and is designed to be used in any position I especially like sticking it to the underside of a car, stands, or the lift. When building a roll cage it’s strong enough to hold to the cage itself. Nice to have the torch where I can reach it when holding gussets etc in place with the other hand & pliers. Also used with oxy acet., or stick stinger. I’m going to buy a couple more. It comes with a foam pad which reduces the strength but protects the magnet from breaking if dropped. I also use it to hang cords from when working under a car on stands letting the creeper can roll around.

Very handy for TIG welding
This torch stand is nicely made and has a strong magnet. Exactly what I needed when welding on a car frame. So convenient to have a place to hang your hot torch and keep the tungsten clean. I like the design, too. It has several different torch hooks, so you can mount the stand sideways or even upside down, and hang your torch anywhere. 5 stars for convenience and time savings. I even use it at my welding table.

Edges could be a bit smoother but....
It's a great holder and got some money back for the overcharge in duty as it comes from the USA. Delivery took a little while but worth it. Powerful magnet too.

This thing is great, buy it.
How the hell did I not have this years earlier?? I've busted a few ceramic cups on my tig torch, leaving it on the welding table. It has a way of slowly dragging itself off and onto the concrete. This thing is worth the money in ceramic cups and swearing. You can put the torch in and out of it easily and quickly between welds. Nice strong magnet too. It also keeps the cables away from anything hot on the table, or a hot table itself.I like to keep mine on top of the table, but it can also hangout underneath/ upside down and work well, when you need the extra space.I bought 2. One for work and one for home. This should come standard with every welder.

Great
Very nice product and functional

Nice unit
Stainless steel bracket and bolt, multiple options, magnet is good if it has full contact, install bolt from bottom up with nut on top as shown in instructions, as others have noted the edges are not really sharp but could use some better rounding/polishing
