Diary of a Disciple: Luke's Story Hardcover

My daughter was gifted this from her Bible Study teacher when she was seven years old, and she absolutely loved it. She has since read through it several times and at the end of each time ask, "when will she right another one?"

My son (8yrs) loves this book and it really helped us to make him be interested in the Gospel as such (not as isolated stories as in other Kids' bibles).The story is written in a very engaging language, the graphics cue really help to keep the attention and the text is very close (as much as you can expect I think) to the "adults version" of the Gospel ... really recommended. Thanks to Gemma for this amazing work.

Great idea. Takes kids through amazing events as told by Luke. Nothing stuffy and boring here - the book is fun and relevant for what kids want to hear. Lots of pictures, illustrations and fun lettering. Our 9-year old daughter read through the whole book in just a couple of days. Our 6-year old son had it read to him and he sat still (!) We have bought another for a friend.Any more books like this in the pipeline?And can we have it in German as well?

A really creative way of introducing one of the gospels to a child. The 'translation' is very child oriented but not over simplified and the expressive lettering style visually attractive. Would recommend to anyone seeking to share the bible with a youngster

I love this my grandaughter always has to take something to church to "do" so now she takes this and she was thrilled when the bible reading actually came from the same book a few Sundays ago. It's written in the style of Tom Gates and is really easy to pick up and read.

Fantastic book. Really engaging. I've given it to a 9 year old girl and a 12 year old boy and they both loved the style and language. Scripture Union is not my thing but they have done this well.
