When I order a double high pallet of Ash logs, I end up with said pallet to break down, cut and split into kindling. This tool makes the breaking down process so simple, the leverage is brilliant, pallets just come apart!Great investment. Very solid like all Roughneck tools.

What a great product. It makes dismantling pallets pretty much effortless and has already saved enough time to be worth the money.

Overall I wold say a great product is you want firewood! Not if you intend to reclaim wood for later use!While it does what it says on the tin it’s somewhat limited in size the width of the prongs maybe for 30% of the pallets I was dismantling all from a UK industrial estate and it’s also useless if the planet planks are close togetherI found it was gear for light pallets but seldom takes of a board without breaking it due to the angle of the forks unless it was the weakest pallet with the least amount of nails the. You have no chanceAlso you can only really disassemble half of a pallet with it then you have nothing to lever against it’s not great for the ends of the boards eitherConstruction is sturdy but I read the reviews before I started using so I was careful you could probably break it on a strong constructed palletOverall it was Good if you want firewood and Bad for reclamation stick with a flat bar and a hammer!

I am able to split pallets with ease using this tool. Really easy to use and sturdy. Used to take ages to split pallets but now it is done with a minute. Definitely recommend this product.

Great product

Actually used this to remove some decking where some screws had rusted beyond removal. This is a really sturdy and good quality tool. It removed the offending boards with ease in seconds compared to the extremely slow alternative! The length and design of the tool makes getting under boards quick and easy, so you get good leverage . Works even easier for pallets. A bit of an investment for one off use, but worth while if you have a lot to remove, a real time saver with minimum effort required!
