I used to do a lot of cake decorating when I was younger. I had forgotten some of the techniques and decided to find a book which would remind me and which I could enjoy reading.I highly recommend this book which covers such a lot and explains everything very clearly. It has made me want to try some of the cakes that I would not have dared to make before, but the descriptions and pictures are so good.Many thanks to Karen Sullivan on such a brilliant book.

Recommended for all beginners and advanced cake decorators. The book gives an idea of all kinds of cake decorations that can be done with easy projects to follow.

As a beginner at cake decorating , I would have liked more basic and detailed instructions in places.( eg how to model figures, how to freeze fondant) I managed to find out what I needed from youtube etc and I am using this book as a general guide and a wonderful collection of inspiring ideas. It is a great place to start but you might need to supplement it with some research of your own

I've purchased a few baking books some of which were so poor quality they were fit only for the bin... this is excellent. Colour pictures step by step instructions loads of tips. Well worth it's money.
