Needs some minor upgrades
This is absolutely cool! However, it would be good to be able to change the motion sensor for turning on/off when two are connected together. When you move to turn one on, the other changes the sound, then when you move to turn the second on, the first turns off.

Issue #4 in Trouble shooting Manual is Morse code for + 8 6 1 8 2 7 1 8 8 2 7 0 3
Currently withholding better star rating pending clarification regarding sounds as shown in product video.TL:DR List of issues:Poor packaging by both seller, and Amazon.Controls are painfully cumbersome and not at all intuitive.Manual is in painfully small font, and customer service phone number in Morse Code.Product features don't match those shown in product video.Product received on date indicated, which was 5 business days after ordering instead of the usual 2. However, I ordered a second saber which should arrive within the normal 2 day window. So far I'm pleased with the purchase. The packaging was not as good as I would like for shipping, as the lightsaber came in its own box but had very little padding. This saber box was inside a much larger Amazon box with no filler material whatsoever. I don't blame the product/vender for this, as I feel Amazon should've offered additional padding filler to take up the empty space between their shipping box and the product box. Despite this, the product did arrive without damage. *UPDATE*: The second saber I ordered did have a minimal amount of paper filler added between the saber box, and the Amazon shipping box, but not a sufficient amount to have any impact. The saber arrived with no charge on the batteries. Once charged, although the controls are a bit wonky and cumbersome since there's only one button with about 10 different functions depending on the state of the blade (awake/not awake, on, and off) and the length of the button press, the "users manual" does accurately and adequately explain how to operate the saber (with one exception, discussed below). The user manual itself however, is two cards just a bit smaller than playing cards (about the size of a business card), front and back, written in very small font. (See attached photo) Not necessarily knocking it, just wanting buyers to be aware. You'll need good eye sight, or a magnifying glass to read. Additionally, on the last page under Trouble Shooting it says, "Issue 4 - If any other problems occurs that the above methods won't fix" followed by a code. (Also captured in included picture) I'm sad to report this code is Morse code, which translates to "+ 8 6 1 8 2 7 1 8 8 2 7 0 3" I don't feel there's any excuse to not simply put the customer contact phone number on the card instead of putting it in Morse code requiring translation.Overall, it has a great weight to it, if a bit unbalanced with the blade attached. The hilt feels very durable. I'm not certain how durable the blade is, but I don't intend to do any sparing/dueling with it. Other than the issues mentioned above, the only other issue I have is in the product video at the 46 second mark, the video goes through several sounds of the blade turning on. There aren't any instructions in the manual about how to change this sound. The video also gives the illusion of the light of the blade traveling up and down the length of the blade when you turn it on and off. This is not the case as the entire blade is illuminated from a single light source in the hilt.Don't get me wrong. I do like the product, and don't feel I overpaid for it. But I don't feel I can honestly give it 5 stars with all the issues. I may change/update my rating based on whether or not the sound of the illuminating blade can be changed as shown in product video.

Hit and Miss on the colors
I actually purchased two of these sabers so I could have a bit of fun screwing them together and having them act like a staff saber. Screwed together they felt pretty snug and solid, unfortunately the second saber had a defective LED as the left saber in the pic is showing, the colors were strongly green shifted as both sabers in the first pic were supposed to be Orange in color, I also don't love how the tips bleed brighter than the rest but I'm aware an after market blade would fix that easily.I did try to reach out to Damiensaber to see about taking advantage of the advertised warranty but I never got a response via their Facebook or Aliexpress pages, I eventually had to process a refund through Amazon.Pro's- The saber is solid, feels good to swing around, and can be disassembled easily just using the Allen wrench included.- The Smooth swing works excellent, and the sound fonts are fantastic (My fav is the "rage knight" font- Colors, when they work right, are bright and solid, almost hard to look at sometimesCon's- Customer Service is non-responsive, if your going to buy one, get it from Amazon.- Quality issues can crop up on these sabers, the second saber had a bad LED and one of the retention screws wouldn't fit the Allen wrench due to a defect.Overall, the one that worked is excellent, but I'm 50/50 on the saber actually working as it's supposed to be now. and if you do buy this, the higher cost on Amazon for it means you'll at least have customer support that's easy to contact.

Lightsaber
Day 1 : I didnt like how it came late but the lightsaber itself is great. It has a bunch of effects and sounds and it also has tons of other options. Would recommend buying it.

an honest review what I recieved
For the Price this was a great deal for what you got. not sure what everybody else got that had issues, but here is what I receivedI received a manual that folded up and was very intuitive and descriptive, not a metal card like others have said. the charging cable looks to be high qualityAllen wrench (for the screws)Screws 2 short 2 longBladeSabernow when I hold the button from full power off to turn the saber on it does say power on, but if it is in sleep mode it just makes the light saber sound of on an off I have no complaints about thisgoing thru the manual provided it tells you how to change the color, the sound and the effect(pulse, Stable, or unstable.I never had any had any star wars music play, only thing is that does any talking is the sound of the what saber sounds you want, like scavenger, emperor, the fallen ectand many different colors of bladesmy only complaint on this saber is that it was a little thin and not as thick as my other sabers are.but as a good starter I would recommend thisI am not being paid or compensated for this, and is an honest review

Great training Saber
If you're on the fence about buying this don't be. It's a great training saber. It has a lot more finctions than I expected as well. I only took it down a star is that navigating the blade sounds/function can be more challenging than it should be with very little direction on how to change between each of those functions. Also if you're looking for customization there are some options but you'll be looking at a lot of indie style shops.
